    Thank you, Justin and for breaking it down. This is also challenging for me, transitions are slow since have to put fingers on the right spot, plus the strumming tempo, but I'm up for it. I'll take my time till I get it.

    Enjoyed the tutorial especially the slide back up at the end of the progression. What is the slight rhythmic push thing in the bridge that you mentioned at the beginning of the tutorial?

    Thank you for this video, Justin! Incubus is one of my favorite bands. The talent of each member is undisputed- I feel that the guitarist, Michael Eizinger, is a rare talent, yet so humble that he is underrated. Mexico from Morning View or Anna Molly from Light Grenades would make great tutorial videos.

    For the 1st chord u mentioned that after the open E string the next note to play is the 4th (D) string..but throughout the video you're alternating between the 4th (D) string and the 5th (A) string..so which one is correct?

      it was covered in velcro from when I had fake nails and sometimes made unwanted noise. Now no fake nails so removed it, waiting on new one to arrive!

    I'm finding this extremely hard to do. I've been stuck on the 1st 4 chords for a few weeks and still take like 15 seconds to switch between chords. Let alone get the rhythm down. Maybe it's too hard as a first song to learn to play with chords. I'm good at fingerpicking but not this it seems. I practice transitioning a few minutes every day among my other practice though. Gotta keep trying.

    2 th chord:

    3 rd chord:
    A:3/D:5/DU the whole chord
    4 th chord:
    A:0/D:5/D:5U/A:5slide7
    Btw, those online lessons are verry confusing, Marty posted just a Strumming Pattern for those, now i see that i have to pick individual notes, and guess what, i try to learn it by ear, the last chord is so confusing, sometimes i heard just Strumming, but sometimes individual notes picking
