Bro…. I’m a solo acoustic performer and your campfire versions of songs like this one have saved my ass 100 times! Thank you for what you do, never stop! I do wish you had them all in one spot so I could find them easier for some inspiration’
You may have just saved a lot of singers who play (intermediate skill) guitar. Your campfire versions allow me to perform, sing and play and not get too hung up on finding cords up the neck. You would be surprised how many people are looking for campfire style songs and I suggest you keep doing more!! Haha : ) Thanks for putting the time into making these videos as it’s really helped me.
Absolutely amazing. Been playing guitar for 2yrs and going out gigging with mate soon and these campfire versions are a life saver. Keep up the awesome work 👏
I love the explanations of what notes make up the chords and how you transpose them to make it easier on the novice guitar player like myself. It's like a basic intro to music theory. Love it!!!!
Hey man again I just wanted to thank you so much for these campfire versions I've been playing guitar since 1988 but I have a disability in my left arm so these optional easier open chords really help me out just wanted to thank you again for the bottom of my heart
@@RyanLendt so I just subscribed to you and I'll be checking you out more often and I promise to like every single video I watch if you can incorporate some 70s and '80s as well that would be fantastic just hopeful thinking
Hey Ryan , I like the campfire edition better than yesterday's🔥👍 Then again I mostly play my acoustic for my own enjoyment! Love all your acoustic arrangements! Thanks for all you do.
Mr. Lendt, another fantastic video as per usual. Appreciate the love you have for your viewers. I personally would love to see a video on some of the art Travis Meeks released back in the late 90's. I think there is only 1 or 2 quality Days Of The New tutorials on RUclips, however, little compares to your way of teaching. Songs like: -Shelf in the room -The down town -Freak -Now -Whimsical I think these songs will suite the vibe of your channel, just a suggestion from a fellow viewer (cheers emoji)
Holy crap that's amazing! Pretty much sounds the same! Maybe you skimp out on a couple high notes but other than that.... Wow! Amazing. Now I just need a fire pit.
Wow easy version since i am left-handed so hard to put finger to the string on bar chord's position it cause muted other strings ahaha Thanks for this version ❤️
related to incubation, yesterday I found a glass jar with a birds nest built in it from who knows when with a single unhatched egg in the center. it could be one year old, it could be 20 years old. the mystery. maybe i'll show and tell it today.
Hey Ryan, love the content! I think you’re the only guitar channel I actually subscribed to due to your demeanour and types of songs you do, not to mention how easily you break everything down! I was wondering if you’d like to do a newer song from the Glorious Sons. They’ve got a few big, popular, easy songs to play but the little intricacies are beyond me. They have a live album, “Live at Longboat Hall” where they play White Noise then (S.O.S) Sawed off Shotgun. It would be really cool if you broke down how they play these songs live both lead and rhythm or maybe a hybrid mix? I’ve gone as far as I can by ear learning the solos and stuff now it’s time to see what a professional can do.
Aye I can play the original version of this. Maybe I am an intermediate guitarist now :D Also, by the offchance you're a Syd Barrett fan, can you make a lesson on terrapin?
@@RyanLendt well David Gilmore played it live maybe you can make a tutorial on that. Octopus is also a great song to cover. Just that it was Syd's birthday a couple of days ago and I wanted to learn a song of his to pay homage 😀
I'm gonna go sit in the corner and there's nothing you can do to stop me. Why? Because we're WAY past 50k already and I never woohoo'd it. Belated WOOHOO! :) *Sits in corner*
@@RyanLendt ahh haaa brilliant. The actual Incubus player went to some ivy league music school, no? Then you found an easy way... That sounds the same? Thats Impressive. Im new with guitar and this answers a question ive had for awhile ... So u can mimic the chords anywhere they can put together... but, no one goes outside of the box that often... Interesting

Unbelievable how easier this is, makes it much easier to sing and play. Thanks man
As we grow older i love your campfire versions, I learn so much from them. Thanks
why thank you Dr :)
That’s awesome mate, it sounds great and it’s heaps easier. Thank Kyle for me for taking the time to work that out
kyle isn't speaking to me.
Awesome lesson Ryan. Love it
thanks E
Mate the way you break these down is super awesome, thanks for taking the time to do it ;)
thanks richo!
Can’t wait to try this ❤ Thanks for the lesson
Have fun!
Thanks Ryan! Love this version (and much easier to play)
my pleasure!
Great lesson. If yoe switch the fingers on the E Minor, you don't have to move your pointer finger for the whole song. Makes for a nice anchor.

That was awesome! The thumbs down must have been from ukulele players
hehe. thanks JD
Kick out the Jams. Should be done someday
you should know me well enough to know that I don't know what that is.
You are doing a favour for the untalented guitar enthusiasts.. Good on you mate
thanks friend :)
I like your brain!
my brain likes you
can anybody decipher the strumming pattern?
Now I can play it until I get the original down. Thanks. 19* outside. Time to download a campfire on the tv.
hehe. yes, or that.
I don't even go camping!! Quick, get the matches!
and the hose!
@@RyanLendt that kind of camping? Trés kinky
Amazing how you lose nothing with feel of the song and infinitely easier. May not look as cool though. :)
darn close to note for note indeed :)
Finger puzzles are not for me. This video is for me
you're always too busy with your sudoku for finger type puzzles

How come every time I watch one of your videos I find myself questioning my sexuality
that's nothing to be ashamed of, I sometimes go by my maiden name
Why does anyone else show this way? Why does everyone always make us do hard chords when u can do it this way too
because i came up with it myself
