The recording is really not so good, we know... but the band is amazing and the singer is fabulous. Foxygen is doing a briliant work into the rock scene as no one has making in the last times. This is my opinion.
Agreed. Sam is really a great vocalist. The studio is not doing him any favors, I can barely hear him for one.
f0rmaggi0 what favours does any studio owe to a sub par vocalist? they should know that this studio ususaly has pretty dry sounding recordings anyways
I’m pretty sure when you come to KEXP your crew comes with you, they just weren’t that good the crew included
I like the mood and feel of the song. I like everything about the song. The lyrics. The vocals. It's cool and old fashioned.

Why so many dislikes for their videos? Think the songs sound great!
They're letting their penis use the internet... They saw a semi-attractive female in the thumbnail, clicked it, saw that it was actually a male, and in disgust spammed the dislike button.
it might be because he sounds like hes singing karaoke. Fleetwood Mac if Stevie was coked out all the time.

The music is great, but... What a mess man! Especially on the refrain.
At least the lead singer is (mostly) on pitch… He’s just mixed way too quiet. The backup singers on the other hand… jeez. Sounds like someone hired their sisters/girlfriends… lol
Such a brilliant song. Singer's giving some nice Todd Rundgren vibes but needs support in his diaphragm. I think he's hung over. LOL

wow... this actually is really bad. He seriously lacks vocal skills, though the music is catchy and really melodic. A big disappointment.
