@@kathleenmcallister494 If you like the kids menu that do it!!! No need to waste food for an x-large portion if you like what they have for kids. Plus...you are on vacation. Do what you want 😃😄It's all free too...so it's not like they are going to say, "oh...you need to pay more $$$ for something off the adult menu"

Hey Christina! Loving the room service on Holland America! Currently at St. Kitts just arrived today! Going to South Frigate Bay beach! Been at St. Maarten and yesterday Dominica! Tomorrow St. Thomas Btw the quesadilla with cheese was my favorite! Your spot on about the TV too! Lol! Thanks for the info! Loving Holland America Eurodam! 👍🙂

@cruisetipswithchristina Hey Christina! Boy that's a tough decision! They all had different and fun qualities that set them apart. I loved St. Maarten (of course duty free shops etc) beaches OMG?? The Jet Blast was amazing! Also St. Lucia had amazing beaches as well. Really liked the charm of Dominica ppl were so friendly and that beautiful Mero Beach! I skipped excursions and took taxi's etc to the beaches. For me was more economical as Holland America can be pricey! Really enjoyed St. Kitts and the view at the top of Timothy Hill you can see the split of Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean was AMAZING! Also great beach Carambola was one of my absolute favorites! You can walk in the water so far and it's shallow! Just beautiful! St. Thomas AMAZING! Went to Sapphire beach! Incredible! One of my favorites was Half Moon Cay! The beach was unbelievable! Well not home quite yet Christina! I stayed in Miami 4 nights as we arrived back at FT. Lauderdale 11/8 then came to Miami. I leave today for my 2nd cruise on Virgin Voyages (6 nights) then come back to Miami 11/18 and fly home to Philly! Can't wait! Roatán Honduras then Costa Maya Mexico and finally Bimini in the Bahamas! Should be WILD?! Thanks for all your great info on your channel! It helped me very much on Holland America! 6:20 - 6:34: Sadly, HAL has removed the Tamarid "Land & Sea" bento box which was the best option. Hoepfully this change will be reversed.
Bummer!! And thank you for sharing!! I think I remember seeing the price for the Bento Box and thinking it was cheaper than what many restaurants charge!
You can get a nice charcuterie plate made up at the Dutch Deli and take it to your room. I have never asked them to deliver it but maybe I will do so and tip the server. I had campaign delivered so why wouldn't they deliver the Dutch treat?
A charcuterie plate?! What is the Dutch Deli? Maybe it has another name you are thinking of?
If you have the soda drink package and order a soda through room service do you have to pay?
You forgot to mention that during the main dining hours, all standard menu items at the dining room, are free to your room! (well except those that have an extra dining room fee, like lobsters etc. ) Starters, main courses, desserts.
Don't forget to ask about the crisps (desserts) of the day in the Dining Room.

Interesting, that's either new or we didn't notice it. We only do breakfast on early excursion mornings, but didn't have one room service delivery on our last 14 night cruise. With intermittent fasting, I'll probably never use it again unless I'm sick. I did start to order BLTs from room service on our last Carnival cruise for lunch, because their buffet was not very good.

On our last cruise to Alaska, we did breakfast after trying mdt and lido for first couple days. Room service is way to go for breakfast, hot, delicious and hassle free. It's all we'll do on our upcoming cruise in june.
Thanks for the tip!! I never know what time I'll be waking up...so that's why I never get room service. You must always have balcony too! What do you order to have delivered to the room for breakfast?

We have eggs, bacon oatmeal coffee and tea. Balcony is must have for scenic cruising. Keep up good work.

Start seeing what? You mean the room service menu? It's possible they don't have it on the app...😀
Do you know if it's possible to get vegetarian sausage or bacon?
I don't think so....I'm pretty sure that if that were an option, they would have listed it. They do have lots of Greek yogurt on the ships and granola for breakfast!

I'm pretty sure it is! It's just that SOME of the items do cost. What makes you think it's not free anymore? Just got off a cruise in Jan and it was.
