Bought the fix’ns for Texas Twinkies this weekend and got caught up with everything else I was smoking and forgot about the TT. I will be making this on Wednesday! This would be amazing on some crusty bread rounds. Follow up comment to let you all know how it comes out….no doubt it will be amazing!

Could you smoke the cream cheese and bacon and mix all the ingredients, smoke for two hours and then let it cool and put in fridge to finish the next day?
We’ve never tried it that way, but I don’t see that being a problem. Let us know how it turns out.
@@cookingwiththerobinsons I just wanted to let you know that I did smoke the cream cheese and bacon on Saturday and then mixed everything up in a cast iron skillet and put in the refridgerator overnight. I pulled out the mixture on sunday afternoon and put in my pellet smoker at 350 for about 30 minutes and it was bubbling and delicious. My family all commented how much they liked it. Thank you for your recipe!
