@@zaz4667 I have a 03' model year car, 2.5l 4 cylinder, 6spd manual, FWD - making a Seattle to Cali emerald triangle Circuit every weekend, just fine - Nissan of course - I won't buy another car until it's a tesla. The cause will be either sometthing too good to pass up or someting breaks on my car that takes me a few weeks to fix on my own (pull engine/trans/etc). THEN i'll get a tesla and make my nissan an auto-x car or a "race" car of some sort. Stll not hopin for it to break break, but the damn thing willl take me abusing it for `1 1/2 yr w/o an oil change just top ups, the harder I beat it theh smooher it rides. 03' Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V w p;enty of boltons.
Elon, unlike every other CEO on the planet, knows both the business and engineering aspects of his company at a very fine detail. Even better, he's not afraid to talk about it and answer questions. Sure Elon's a billionaire but he behaves like a regular person rather than a talking suit. That's so refreshing.
The Musk haters will hate him no matter what Elon says or does so therefore they're irrelevant. I like Elon for what he accomplishes and how he acts. It would be different if he was a rude ignorant orange faced buffoon but he's not. He's making Earth a better place and that's pretty awesome.

And I've seen my fair share of stupid people some girl said tesla should use 5G to communicate with servers for its Self Driving software rather than do the compute on board the car itself. Elon is so inspiring. He speaks in such honesty and generosity with a great sense of humor. Future just opens up by him talk. I feel like being lucky to live a life in the same era as his.

I love watching and listening to this guy. He's more honest, straightforward and articulate than any other CEO on the planet. People STILL questioning Tesla's stock valuation? A BIG part of that is due directly to Mr. Musk. I just hope he's not planning to book a seat on one of his own SpaceX shots .... we can't afford to lose him!

I've loved listening to his talks for years now he's not scared to be wrong, embarass him self, or set (and provide) his most unlikely, but possible timelines for projects.
To be fair, Elon questions the stock valuation also.
Elon says that is 99% of the hardest part of car manufacturing is building the machine that makes the machine which are the factories. Most companies take several years to ramp up to full production while Elon does it in a year. Amazing!!!

It is fun watching Elon talk like this. No teleprompters. Able from the top of his head know facts & figures. A CEO who is also an Engineer. Imagine that. But watching Elon talk you can see his brain is 10x faster than his mouth is capable of relaying information.

It would be expensive power wise to run a cage on your devices all the time but if you built one outside your systems you could click it on when a flare is detected and cover all your cars when the first one is disabled.

I feel that Elon has so many thoughts,ideas and info in his head that every time he speaks, he has to sort out his thoughts first and then speak in a way that is understandable by common folks! This guy speaks humbly, always a pleasure to hear him talk. I started reading the book written by his mom,and I can see why he's so well mannered. @@JonasBecker not sure, have to check my bills. Electricity for the car depends very much on your commute. Electric cars consume 160 to 260 Wh/km, depends on car type. Heating depends where you live. Heatpumps are 3 to 5 times more efficient than simple electric heaters. With this, you should be able to calculate your consumption.
Mine is approx. 10 MW/year, if I remember correctly.
