Yes! That's my favorite of his original material. When I was a kid - which was in the 80s when it first came out - my friends and I had a whole routine worked out to that song. It was pretty frickin funny for 9 year olds

The guy who grabbed him at the end is the guy he missed in the beginning, when he accidently shot the wrong guy. Again, I recommend either "Dare to be Stupid," which is done in the style of Devo, or "Bob," which is done in the style of Bob Dylan.

I remember Al explaining in an interview once that he actually does syllable counts on the original songs so he has a baseline to work with when it comes to rewriting the lyrics for the parody.

I love these Al Yankovic parodies, many of them I haven't seen in a long time. Keep 'em coming. If you haven't already done it, you need to "Living with a Hernia" by James Brown.
You've gotta do "Achy Breaky Song". You might be too young to remember the original, but "Achy Breaky Heart" was one of, if not *the* biggest country hit of the 1990s.
I believe Billy Ray and Miley are the only father/daughter duo that Al has parodied.
I feel so old seeing the Weird Al songs you're asked to play. Haven't seen Like a Surgeon yet, for instance. Well, comedy is mostly recognition based and most of the new songs I can't link, never have heard the originals. Just putting it out there.

Al specifically writes his parodies such that you don't need to know the original song to enjoy the humor. In fact, half of the songs on his albums are not direct parodies and are original songs by Al. Many fans will tell stories how they never heard the original song until much later in life.

I'm going to throw in a recommendation for one that I don't think is on the official channel: the "Yoda Chant". It's something he does in concerts to spice up his song Yoda. It was just a brief bit of musical silliness, but over the years it's grown and grown and now it's something like over 3 minutes long.
I'd recommend The Rye or The Kaiser (Theme From Rocky XIII) it's a lesser know gem of his.

You've covered quite a few of these things. You've almost wrapped them all up. Another parody song, with a good video is "Living With a Hernia". It helps, if you remember Rocky IV, and you're familiar with James Brown. Blues Brothers, Rocky III, and Doctor Detroit are probably good things to have in the back of your mind. It's not necessary, but they are good things to have experienced, to have an idea of James Brown's style.

I think the ending is is probably him being finally taken out by that Dictator, but because he smiled to show broken teeth right after that Better dental plan line, I like to think that it was part of the plan to be caught and he beat them all up and escaped.

lol the one that got him wasn't the one that he shot with his silencer on, you can see at 2:15 (it was his main "target" that got him, he missed him and shot...what Cheny? at 2:34 and 3:03 is where he killed the one with the silencer which was the middle target
