Jack has such a wonderful melodic sense, knowledge of theory, a soulful approach making all of his music unique expressions. Hard to find a more prolific player. ☮️❤️😊
First off, I'm a Strat guy and the guitar volume has a HUGE effect on certain fuzz pedals. Before founding this out, I always used them full blast and didn't like them. After watching Tim Pierce's video on this idea and with single coils, I bought a KingTone Mini fuzz and I can leave it on most all of the time and just turn down the volume for much cleaner tones. It feels and sounds great which is why I love it.This may be a nice fuzz for my other amp. Thanks Jack and all the best to you!
Thanks!! That's our Aurora guitar. Designed and made in collab with Giordano guitars. We sell it of course but it's very exclusive. To know all the details just send me an email at info@cornerstonemusicgear.com 😊
Yea I teased quite a lot but yea... I'm so proud of this pedal... It's probably one of the most complicated ones I've ever made, cause making fuzz sound like this it's not easy at all
Ciao Emilio, Come stai ? La famiglia ? Since we met in Lippiano back in 2019, you've come a long way ! This pedal is for people like me, who normally hate Fuzz. You've managed to put up a very attractive pack of options, that make it usable (a first time for me). Plus having the mighty Jack to demonstrate it with a very nice presentation where one can follow the controls on the screen: this is a home run ! Cheers Emilio, greets from 🇫🇷 René
Hey René! Thanks for the kind words! I'm doing well, and my family is great too, thanks for asking. It's been quite a journey since our meeting in Lippiano, hasn't it? I'm thrilled you enjoyed our pedal, especially since you're not typically a fan of fuzz effects. Your feedback means a lot, and I'm glad you like Jack's presentation, I think it's superb!. Sending warm greetings from Italy! 🇮🇹
Sincerely, I love your brand....and love the partners you're calling out. Already have an Antique v2 and a dual Gladio. I'm a fuzz addict, and I'm waiting for the Nero. I do really appreciate the good taste and hard work for details. 🖤😎👍🏽
Super demo! I already went down the (very sweet) rabbit hole of Cornerstone pedals and I guess I’ll go deeper with this one (always struggled with fuzzes, maybe this is the right time..) I definitely would like to know more about that guitar, and finally, a dream: I’d love to see a cooperation with Mezzabarba. Been knowing Pierangelo from decades and know his passion and knowledge, and I see the some in Emilio. Who knows?.. Edit: Jack is really awesome and he demoed bot Cornerstone and Mezzabarba products in the past ;-)
This is without a doubt... my favorite Fuzz ever (I'm not a fuzz guy at all). This one is heavily musical, smooth and round at the top. The dynamic is IN-SANE!!! Finally a fuzz I get. Oh, I love it so much.
Oh man thanks so much for this feedback!!! ❤ this is actually the pedal that I designed after years of struggling with fuzzes... I've always loved the sound, but never used one... for many reasons... so I'm sure this will be a good fit for everyone out there like me ❤
Such great dynamic in this pedal. I'm not hearing any extremes and maybe it could use a bit more gain/fuzz but I guess it's stackable with other pedals. I'm really liking this!
This pedals sounds delicious ! One can only appreciate a gear demo wthat never falls in the pit of endless overused and overheard pentatonic runs...Everything sounds so musical here
@@cornerstonegear Yes, I totally agree…being a guitar enthustiastic myself plus having regular digital marketing tasks at work, I have a clue how difficult it is to divide your pedals from thousands other manufacturer’s products. For that job you need a person who’s got to be exceptional guitarist/composer, who’s got to have fantastic pitching skills and be the most lovable personality + on top of all, he/she should also have the looks and the charm to get the viewers attention for 10 minutes or maybe longer. There are not so many of those who can handle that all. Jack has got what it takes, and he is in the top 3 of all RUclips influencers.
@@cornerstonegear but the star in this video is still the fuzz-pedal, I play Gladio double pedal and it is just great - I just need to wait for a moment until Neros will be awailable on a used market, cannot afford the new one right now..
I may have missed this in the video but can you turn the fuzz down so low that you essentially just have the Gladio circuit? Or at least pretty close? I’ve been looking at the Gladio SC for a while but if this is essentially that plus fuzz I’m going with this
I'm torn between this and the Kingtone Fuzz - but I think I'll get the Nero because it seems much more versatile with the two switches. Also, thank you for your extensive demo, just a perfect showcase. Any tips on signal chain placement, before or after buffers?
Ehy thanks a lot!! The cool thing about the nero (besides the versatility given by the feature set) is the input impedance. Which is 1 mega ohm. This means that it can be placed wherever you want in the signal chain, and not necessarily in the first position like you would do with classic fuzzes
Question 🙋🏻 With this kind of pedal, which can categorize as fuzz or drive, where do you recommend it’s position on signal chain, does it go before compression or after ,where it belongs with other drives? Appreciate your response
Thanks for the very good question: you can actually place it anywhere in the signal chain thanks to the high input impedance. So it's all about tastes, I personally like it as first drive
Also that was a great decision to choose this guy as a representative. He is one of the best!
Absolutely agree!!
Jack is the best!
I almost didn't recognize him with the facial hair until he started talking! Lol
Jack is an amazing player.
100% agreed!!
Absolute fav player. He makes this pedal sound sick. Very versatile and so harmonically rich.
No denying, it sounds great!. So great to see Jack back on the toob!
Such a pleasure to have him at the Cornerstone house 😊
Jack and Cornerstone, what a pair! certainly getting that fuzz - something different, finally!
Thanks! Yea I just love Jack's playing it fits our pedals just perfectly

Excellent Démo !!!! Great sounds !!!!! Well done

Jack. This was a fair, and accurate assessment of this pedal . Shine on mate. Because you are...

Came for the Pedal but stayed for the guitar. Looks and sounds amazing!
Oh yea, our Aurora is just amazing 😍 (I'm biased 😆)

Very promising pedal, yet Jack playing - whatever guitar or pedaL, they all sound sooooo tasty!!
Jack is an incredible player of course! I can say that in this video the pedal has been fully shown the best way possible in all its tones

It is just a great pedal... just like anything from Cornerstone...I also just put out a demo on it...🤘🎸
thank you so much!!!
That guitar!
Oh yea we love it too 🔥😆
Great pedal!! What brand guitar is this?
That dude can play geez
Definitely 😜
Quick question is this a silicon fuzz?
There isn't any germanium thing in the Nero. So in this regards we can say yes, it's silicon. But that just tell 1% of the whole story 😉
Yessssss
Yeah, great pedal, but... I want that guitar!!😀
😜 send me an email
What make is it?
Jack my pocket is empty but i have to buy it ! I blame you!

But does it doom?
Not sure what you mean 😅
Yes, it surely dooms!!
The guy is like “ i dont like it but they’re paying me” 😂
Awesome pedal 👌🏻
