The Ride1Up REVV 1 moped style electric bike was just announced, and at first glance seems to offer superior performance and a lower price. Could this finally be the 52v moped style electric bike that takes Super 73 down for good?

Single 750w hub motor with a 25a controller isn't going to be very good for serious hills. A Grizzly with 2x 1000w motors is in a different league than this thing.

You really do need to test one of these out man and let us know what you think! I just built my Ride 1UP LMT'D the other day and an important aspect of my bike (and bikes in general) is the ability to adjust the seat as it relates to the pedal position. I think a tall guy with long legs would feel as silly as he would look pedaling this thing as is. Im just sayin

The point of the bike is NOT to pedal. Those are just there for legal reasons (and if you run out of battery)
I ordered my FS green today. I have the Cafe Cruiser and love it!
Sweeet, I like the cafe cruiser too, you’re probably going to love the addition of rear suspension and a huge bump in power compared to the rather tame cafe
I ordered green too. I have two 700s and find them to be great bikes. Hope they come out with a rear rack for the Revv1. Looks like there might be predrilled holes for such.
I'm thinking bout getting this bike for the summer.. and so far the specs and looks is a winner for me..the only thing I'll change is at that price point I would of like to see a color monitor,instead of metal fenders I rather plastic (rocks hitting metal can be annoying) and most of all option to add a second battery would make it a sweeter deal😆

Is the hard tail that bad of an option. I don’t plan to go off-roading and at most would do gravel or sometimes sand.
you'll probably be happy with it, it's powerful and fast compared to most ebikes I review
I use the hard tail Revv for work, love it. For bumps I just stand in attack position briefly. Top speed on hills is 46mph
I am just curious, what is your height and leg inseam? I get that you dont want pedal this bike, but the ergonomics is what i am after, given i am 6.2 w/an 34" inseam, thx keep up to good work🙏
6'5" and inseam is 34"
it'll probably ergonomic to ride as a motorcycle, but awkward to pedal

Is it made too ride two people?
I’m not for sure, it does appear that there may be a place to put pegs for a passenger footrest built into the frame as I pointed out in the video, the length of the seat may be the limiting factor there, I guess we’ll see soon I hope 🤞

a few big differences are the graffiti is a direct drive motor that can take a lot more power without over heating
also no rear suspension on graffiti which is kind of a big one

What amp controller should be on this?
@@TailHappyTV For a brand new Super73/Aerial competitor in 2023 at this price point I would have expected the Bafang G062 and at least a 30 amp controller (which bafang makes available themselves, it is even fully programable like the bbsx motors using the same cable). Those wheels look cool (they are stock Bafang parts) but they are heavy as hell and there is no truing/repairing them.
I just think it's a shame because this is a decent looking bike but it's going to feel very slow compared to many similar bikes already on the market. I thought the point of Ride1Up was giving you more for your money, this bike costs the same as an Ariel Rider X-Class yet uses inferior components. I predict this thing will end up getting marked down fairly significantly after they see a lack of sell through of their inventory.
Thanks for your insight, I’m going to look into the g062, I didn’t consider the weight difference in the wheels too. That x class is a value leader for sure, my buddy has one, I need to get it on the channel

@@wilsgrant it’s a 28amp controller on the full suspension..start reading properly
I would compare it to the Ariel Rider 52v. I think the Ride1up looks better but won’t perform as well as the Ariel Rider. These bikes with 750w motors and 25amp controllers just don’t cut it anymore. There are better choices if you like performance.
This exactly. If this bike was hundreds of dollars less than the X class from Ariel Rider I could at least understand its place in the market.

Ariel rider looks pretty lame though. It seems like the bike Guy Fieri would ride, has a wal mart vibe. The design in this bike is a million times better. I have a ride one up Roadster and it’s great quality for the price
