This marvelously talented man had incredible passion....both as a singer and a poet. With the help of a good friend I'm discovering a wonderful part of the Australian soul, and how it lives within the music and the poetry....Thanks Linda. jtk🍁Canada
I saw Jeff St John perform with this line up of musos many times in the early 1970s perform at Hornsby Dance and Arts Factory in Paddo and Ourimbah rock festival. . He had an incredible powerful singing voice. What a a great band as this video proves .
What became of Ross East? One of my favourite solos ever is that whole bass drum keyboard guitar solo section of Teach Me How To Fly.( Finishes with Machine Gun....hmmm.)
Melanie Adams .......oh I strongly disagree - the poem is an intelligent, interesting piece and far from “boring”. While I’m familiar with the musicians here, I often visit solely to enjoy Jeff’s poetry.
So happy i was a teenager in the 70s🙂 the best music, the best clothes, the best times!!!🥰🥰🥰
...........and that is why I'm a huge Jeff St John fan. Fantastic.

Gorgeous soul. Miss ya Jeff. Miss these times and that sort of pure talent ❤
Jeff St John played at one of my high school dances, we knew how to have fun in the sixties.

I'm just learning about him, like him a lot. Don't know the history of what happened?
The guys poetry is just something else and he had overcome all of his personal problems too be a hero
Neil Gill . Tryly is. Always handy to build music around.
