    I'd call this monster the Magic Eraser. Those pines are literally disappearing. I watch some yard care guys in Tasmania and Australia. If Munchie could be sized down to use on a lawn, they would love it. They got some hellasious grass down there.

    Leave it to Munchie! Very satisfying to watch Munchie chomp the whole patch down to the ground. On other projects where you stop at an agreed upon line I’m mentally always thinking “keep going!”

    Good job and it was a good video but while watching you I keep thinking how much more work you can get done if you had a bigger machine and did not have to constantly wait on the mulcher to regain momentum and could move a lot faster through that mess.

    I would have to turn off the blades while getting out and doing work anywhere near them. That would be something I wouldn't want to accidentally trip and fall into.

    Using the mini and little munchie was a wise choice because you didn't know how deep the ditch was or how steep the sides were and by setting up higher you had better visibility

    I am so very sorry that you had to grind down those Pine trees. I love Pine/Evergreen trees. They are good for the environment. Would big Munchie have been better/faster at this job? Just asking!!!!!

    What a useless ditch. I'm wondering if it was a temporary ditch when they first started the industrial park back there. I bet it'd be fine to cover it and level it out for the client. Hopefully you get another job from them. Looks good brother.

    Where did you learn your tree identification? You can just easily name these things. I can id a pine tree but besides that, it's maybe an oak?

      I downloaded an app called "PictureThis" and it identifies plants and trees by taking a picture of the leaf. It also gives you details about it as well. So that's how I started learning!

    I'm a 🌳 hugger, so sad to see them go. Maybe 1, 2 or 5 could have stayed. Clear in between them so they could be seen through. But I am not the land owner. therefore, it's not up to me. 😢 However, with that said, I enjoy watching munchie do its thing.

    It’s a shame my landlord won’t pay someone to cut the kudzu beside our apartment complex and all the other overgrowth in the ditch and the trees that are growing down in the ditch it looks so snakey it has to be snakes in all the overgrowth by the way this is in northern Mississippi Grenada county

    Are hitches not a thing in your part of the world?
    I am in Queensland Australia and and 95% of people have a tilt hitch, some 1.7 tonners have half hitches but nobody has no hitch!!

    Cant help wondering why u guys use so small eqipment, guess it is u charge pr hour. With a Volvo or a Cat and a 8 or 10 feet mulcher u could do this in less the half time and still charge the same amount + do 2 jobs in a day... To me this looks just as a hobby u attend to on your free time playing with your toys.

      This is not a hobby, this is my full time job. Secondly, Cat and Volvo don't make 8-10 foot mulchers so it sounds to me like you have no idea what you're taking about when it comes to mulchers or heavy equipment. We have the equipment that we have because that's what we can afford.

      @@idigit4967 Its used in the forest industri and to clean out the sides of the roads in Sweden and Norway, so guess they exist... lol... Mulchers is made separately by other companies and is fitted with the Volvo fast attach system to any digger using that system, takes less than a minute change between the mulcher and a scope...
