Aside from Aliona’s, Anastasia’s and Sasha’s (the second one) none of those are painful. For example Kamila’s fall : she was already low to the ground so the fall was less painful. Next, falling on your butt is a classic fall in figure skating, caused by an underotation usually. It’s the less painful way to fall. I’ve seen way scarier falls than those (besides, Russian skaters aren’t the only ones to fall??) Latest in my mind, Minkyu from Korea at his latest JGP event, scary double fall where he apparently hit his head and hit the boards after.
Lena's fall in the final of the individual tournament of the Russian Jumping Championships and the first fall in the 5th round of the team tournament looked worse than most of these falls.
the coach in this video, Eteri Tutberizde, is extremly abusive. she is the coach of all these girls, and now that they are all around there mid 20s, they have all left her. but she still has some students that she is teaching with her abusive ways. i recommend you search her up on youtube, theres some really good videos documenting her abuse on these girls.
It could have been avoided if proper technique has been introduced. Yes falls in these videos are unfortunate but in Anna's case is due to her improper technique. Shes lucky to be healthy and perform it in the olympic level. Proper jumping techniques are in place to minimise injury. She smashed her toe assisted jump instead of tapping and then she use the full blade before taking off mid air...very few elite skaters could maintain this jumping technique in their competitive career. Its a toe/ankle killing technique.
@@JustMe-12345i think ur talking about Daria, she was a skater who fell during test skates (i think) and broke her hip ligament or smt like that, there are speculations that it wasn't because of the fall, but because of harsh aka bad Eteri training,so when she fell it got worse
and the fact that even after experiencing so much pain, they continue to perform because the show must go on. respect to these women
Anna's attempt so painful
Aliona's too
Sasha's too it was so dangerous
The title is Kind of misleading, as its not women figure skating, its russian figure skating
Does it really matter?
There woman ? So it’s woman figure staking there woman aren’t they
@@PerfectSkating-s4tyeah 😊
@@This_iceee_skaterr Okay, i'll try to include all distingushed skaters the next time. Thanks for a piece of advice 💗
Doesn't matter their still women
The moment when Sasha hit the ice after her falling 😭

@@ssufiyaathe coach at 2:20 is not Eteri tho. For the others yes but the last one is not Eteri
@@Ace-zs4gc eteri teaches along side other coaches
He looks worried to me
@@ssufiyaa I know but those are not some of the coaches she trains with.
who's the last skater?
The scariest part of these is they are all caused by
1. doing a triple lutz
2. divets in the ice
My most painful fall is falling like this 0:57🫡

@@stanley052380i so love fs but still have difficulty understanding some terminologies regarding the athletes' techniques
random falls
Are they all okay?
Yes, learning to fall is part of learning to skate.
They shown here are, a girl (i think it was a different one) fell similarly to the last one and broke her hip bone....
@@JustMe-12345the last one was Nastya, she had a hard fall and had to be taken to the hospital but she had nothing serious, her hip wasn’t broken.
