    Finally can add a good barrel mounted comp to my Mark 23.

    A set screw between the lugs would save a lot of lost comps. Mine vanished after about 20 rounds, even after I obsessed about properly torguing it.
    Never found it.

    What is the recommended torque for the Carry Comp when using the wrench flats?

    Hello, I have a suggestion for a video.
    Do a comparison in decibel reduction between your flash hiders, minimalist brake, ez brake and Paladin brake.
    Use a couple of your suppressors for this test and do something like 10 shots.
    Same box of ammo.
    308 win, 300 blackout and 556.

    With most comped barrels +p ammo is recommended for proper cycling, is that also true here?

    Where can I get this.
    I want this on my Glock 45 and p365 xl
    And which piston do I need. Will it work with the hybrid 46 ?

    Does the comp walk off after shooting a mag or two , I just got the barrel adapter and comp , and was wondering if anyone has this product and if they had any issues

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  2 года назад +1

      We recommend the CAM-LOK system be checked for tightness every 30 rounds, or 2 15 round mags

    Quick question, I have the Cam-lok carry compensator for my 9mm and after 10 rounds or so it flys off. So how do I stop that from happening?

    • @GriffinArmamentOfficial
      @GriffinArmamentOfficial  Год назад

      Are you hand tightening it? The compensator should be torqued to ~2.5 ft/lbs or 30 in/lbs, this is very light torque using a wrench.

      @LucianoBradley12 Год назад

      @@GriffinArmamentOfficial I do have the threaded end tighten down. The compensator walks after 10 rounds or so. I did read in another comment that is recommended to check after a mag or two.

    CAM-LOK barrel in the future?

    • @davenportjg
      @davenportjg 3 года назад +1

      That would be amazing!
      But I think most handguns don't have the space where the barrel slips in to accommodate the taper needed, so it probably needs to thread on after the barrel is installed, similar to how you need to take a thread protection off before installation of a threaded barrel. Hope that helps, and I would not hold your breath, if you are waiting for a barrel instead of buying now, might never come because of design limitations.

      What Jack said. Wouldn't fit in slide.

    • @deimosian
      @deimosian 3 года назад

      That's definitely true for most 9mm's, but for 45's it might not be the case, as the outer diameter may be large enough to cut the threads into. Then there's things like the 1911 where the barrel loads into the slide from the front and can have all kinds of permanent comps.

    Bought one, it flew off of my pistol during second rage trip. A neat device for range pistols, but not so great for carry pistols if you have to check it is tightly on before shooting.

    be nicer if it could fit all holsters, I dont feel like spending another 100$ just to get a holster for a 60$ thing/part to work, To me thats just more bs
