This week at the château both families carry on with the construction of the new building at the château to store all the logs.
Plus, Tracy continues digging away tons of mud in the hope to create a beautiful BBQ area for all the family.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

My son, who works with stone & brick for a living, said rather than let the rain carry away the sand, that you should save the sand that came off with the wall to reuse to mix with lime when you rebuild the wall, or for any other projects, & you should gather the stones. He says it will save you a ton of money later.
That new shelter for the wood is great. What a difference it makes. Loved seeing Terry as Little Green Riding Hood, the famous brother of Little Red Riding Hood. What a hoot! At least you looked warm, Terry.
That was a great effort by all, Jonathan amazing work with the hedge, I would like to thank you for acknowledging the people who watch your ads and likes, as not everyone can afford to contribute, I know you are very busy and the fact that you still put out videos for us speaks volumes of what truly wonderful people you are

The wood shed was an amazing recycling job! From ruin to an impressive, functional new building. Really nice to watch all of you working together. I think we all need a dose of that these days, even vicariously. We need to be reminded of the good things and good people in the world and your family exemplifies that. Thank you for sharing.
When I think of how far you have come in 12 months --- then I imagine what it will be like in another 12. I reckon you'll still have a lot to do but you'll be sooo much more comfortable. Tracy, you keep digging and maybe you'll find the other set of those teeth! Hope they're not in a skull!!! Thanks for the burst of energy your videos always give me. Sending Reiki back.

Unbelievable! The week's accomplishments are amazing. Can't imagine finding another structure but you managed to create a perfect use for it. Nothing like family volunteers helping you out. You must have had a blast.
Congratulations on a job well done! Y’all work harder than anyone else I’ve ever known. You remind me of days on the farm with my grandmother when I was a child. There was always something to do in the garden, or something around the house or outbuildings that needed fixing. Brings back fond memories. Hope y’all got the seeds in the package I sent. @@ashleywaters7198 I got a notification they were delivered last week, I think. So maybe one of the others got them and put them aside. There was also some things for the time capsule.

That lean-to looks like it went up fairly quickly. I am, however, willing to bet that you may find out how much wood you really are going to use for the place and will need to either add on or make another shelter. Congrats, overall, on all that willing help from the family. It must have been great to finally be able to have them be a part of all this.

@@Sgirl yes, that's what I mean. It's the same thing for me if I'm going to watch 30 seconds rather than skipping it. I just put the phone down and do a thing 😉 Washing the dishes was a bit of a stretch maybe, but you can do a lot with 30 seconds and they usually come in sets of 2. But thanks! I don't think most people know they don't need to watch the whole thing.

Nice to see spring underway, even in the form of wind and rain 💦💦. Amazing what family teamwork can do. I see the smiles and boost to morale! We have an overabundance of wood, but 'm sure your firewood is more dear. That woodshed is a Godsend. I thought of you all today. I managed to put together an overseas cell phone package to the UK so I could call my best friend. We share the same birthday in March. Always called in the past from a land line and got ALL messed up! An operator from the caribbean saved the day. Used to be 01144 from the USA, but not anymore. He helped me me with +44 and drop the 0 in front of her Leed's phone number. I had him on my cell while I dialed his instructions on my husband's phone and she picked up!! It was brilliant and tearful to hear her West Yorkshire accent! Friends and family are EVERYTHING! Cheers! ~ Diane

Just a suggestion. Use one of the old roof sheets. Cut it down to create a bit of a flashing for the side of the exposed wood! Awesome guys
