Throwing instead of running was not a bad decision by Carroll. It was a bad throw by Wilson. By throwing it to a place that only his receiver could get it, guaranteed that they were going to either score a touchdown or have an incomplete pass. Here's the important part, either they get the lead (and very likely win) or the clock stopped. Running Lynch against a goal line defense was no guarantee of a touchdown and with only one timeout, a failed run now puts you in the same position with no timeouts and 4th down. Nope, it was a good decision but a crappy throw by Wilson. That game was a lot more back and forth as well unlike the Falcons' game which was a ton of choke, a ton of luck and a ton of success rolled into one comeback.

I suspect losing that super bowl will keep him out of the Hall to boot. So he doesn't even have a huge legacy that he could fall back on. EDIT: Ryan might be the first QB to retire in the top 10 in Yards, TDs, completions, and QB rating and NOT get in.

I will never forget that game. I knew not to give up at half-time. Guys who were born with a silver spoon hate Brady. Any of us who were under dogs, had to study hard to get ok grades, didn't know anybody that could get us a decent job so we had to start at the bottom.----that's why I love Brady, he worked at it like a lot of us had to and still didn't get respect. Go show 'em TB.

Ahh to have Tom Brady for 20 years was just AWESOME BABY! Still even as a die hard pats fan and as great as that comeback was I did feel bad for Atlanta I mean that had to hurt they were dancing in the streets at halftime even the owner of the Falcons and his wife went down on the field to celebrate with the team in the 3rd quarter and then.........Tom Brady arrived!

For those that say there's not a worse loss in Superbowl history than this one.. I would remind you of one that hurt a team and fan base EVEN WORSE:. The 2007 Patriots going 18-0 and then losing to the underdog Giants in the Superbowl... As a non-fan of either team, that one still has even me stunned!... I kinda wanted to see a team go 19-0 for the first time EVER..just for historical significance, and so that I could tell my grandkids that I watched that team, and the greatest QB ever go undefeated. But Brady and the Pats have done ok since 2007... ONLY Going to 5 more Superbowls and winning 3 of them... I'd say they bounced back ater that tough loss and did ok..

Thomas Patrick Brady is the epitome of 80s Rock Lord Cory Hart’s Power Ballad “ NEVER SURRENDER “...
I’m not going to pretend to have seen the comeback coming but I did KNOW categorically that 12 would somehow someway “make a game of it “ there would be no surrender. I’ve had the great fortune to have seen all 300+ of Brady’s Patriot starts ( Postseason included )& the amount of Blowout can be counted on two hands ( no need fo Toes )
The 25PT comeback was impressive enough but to Need & get those 3 two pt conversions was just amazing 😉
