- Is it Tottenham’s fault that people call 2-0 a dangerous scoreline? Today, even Jim admits to Marcus and Pete that he has some sympathy for Spurs fans after they gave up a 2-0 lead against Brighton.
Elsewhere, Adama Traoré gets the Nathan Redmond treatment after he broke London speed limits against Man City on Saturday. Plus, Andy Carroll is doing King and Country proud over in France. One last England call-up? Who says no…

I think Spurs would be very stupid to ditch Ange after this season. They have spent the last few years chucking new managers without doing a proper rebuild. Dropping Ange would put them back at square-one. Ange may not be the guy in the long term but in the medium term he is a good option to bring some much needed stability.
If Ange keeps sticking to his principals and accepts that that's the way the play then why was he so upset when they lost. He should accept either the win or loss in the same manner
One correction on the Fürth-Magdeburg game (I watched this live on simulcast lol): It was first a Fürth Player doing that giving a penalty to Magdeburg & later in the game it was a Magdeburg player doing that giving a penalty to Fürth.
Liverpool look good, but I haven't yet heard someone mention that they have played only teams 10th or lower, and the one they lost was 10th place Forest. Curious to see how they fare against better sides.
Spurs have played three decent in form teams in Newcastle, Brighton and Arsenal, and lost them all. The other teams are mid to lower table and poor European/lower league teams. Why does everyone get carried away with routine wins and think Spurs are good???
Same thing happened last year when they were labeled title contenders in October.
They played 10, won 8 and drew 2 games. 5 wins were against bottom 5 teams. Just last weeks they were over the moon for winning 5 in a row.
3 of those wins were against pub teams.
Spot on mate. Spurs fan but it’s clear that good teams can slice us in half.
Yep. They're probably the 5th or 6th best team in the league and will get results that reflect that.
Shout out to all those playing the Ramble FPL. I'm top of the league. It's never happened before and it won't last so i'm taking my 15 seconds of fame to milk it. Sorry, not sorry
Forward on!!!
Ange’s problem is that he’s too darn charismatic. He’s a really likable guy. He’s great for a sound bite. Which makes it hard to go in on him too much.
But he’s also a bit of a dunce. He blamed the media for the “i don’t care about set pieces” narrative, that HE started. He seems incapable of adjusting his strategy or philosophy in game. He manages like he’s still at Celtic where he can play careless high line attacking football and just out talent and out score everyone. Prem has too much depth and spurs have too little talent to play like that all the time
A 1-0 lead for the away team is statistically the most dangerous scoreline, not 2-0.
