- With the twin turbo ute back at MPW for some final fabrication we are just about ready to get this beast on the dyno. So check out the awesome fabrication skills of the MPW crew in this video and then come back next week to see it pump out some horsepower!

The AFR bung welding was a bit howdy doody, but it is an interesting little cheat for when you are using a TIG in a confined space. Not that a bung needs to have a super strong weld as long as it doesn't leak. It's never going to snap off.
It was interesting to see but it obviously works

This is a LONG LONG way from being a Binky. Not happening as fast as we would like, but there is a crap ton of work to be done, and a lot of that is dictated by things like MPW's availability. Scotty is talented but I don't think he would be able to get the same results those guys have produced, so sometimes you just have to wait.

Scotty you might want to consider covering in the back of the radiator to help the radiator be more efficient. That is going to make a lot of power, which means a lot of heat, so you need the radiator to do all that it can.
It's on the list of things to do down the track but right now, we're just trying to get it to the dyno

woohoo its getting close Scotty dyno next, I can't wait! its interesting you didn't plumb the screamer pipe back in to the exhaust you probably know this but if you get pulled up by the cops its an instant yellow canary, mine going to be plumbed back to my car exhaust, it has to go to police inspection station at Regency Park to get an exemption for hand controls and its got to meet code which has added time and hassles to my build, all the car guys in SA know them guys are pricks

Also why MPW fab workers did not just tap and make a thread for anything outside the radiator, so much easier and for AN fittings so much cleaner looking just saying, but i guess each to their own. great work cant wait till she is breathing fire at the track and like i said it will be around the low 7's is my guess. 🙌🙌👌👍✌🦘

What engineers did you use to get this on the road ?
I would still be just going for an 8.50 car that other whole second is alot more chances of breakage and less passes, things are not cheap haha
We'll be doing this in stages. First target is 8.50, then we can wind it up.
This has been an awesome build and is going to be bloody quick, are you planning on wheelie bars Scotty?
Not planning for wheelie bars at the moment. I guess we'll see what the future holds

Oh for sure, we're not going to go straight at it, we'll work our way up to it. But we have already built a low 8sec car, so we know what we need to do.

That would be awesome, but we'd be limited to 8.50's in the USA due to cage rules
