Really great to see a sprinter not sprinting his own lead out when he sees no one is challenging. Great team spirit.
👊🦋
Yes nice to see this, would have been nice for Cav to let Renshaw win on the champs back in the highroad days
@@88GraG renshaw earned cav such a large amount of his success.. a machine..
DECATHLON is having a great year so far. And it's always great to see the sprinter let his lead out take the win. Great brake down, Chris. Thanks. 🤜🤛👍
It was right. For me It was little quick how fast the finish line came up while watching the race live. The markers under 1k were not see so visible on camera to me and the sprinters didn’t seem to know the finish was approaching because we didn’t see that acceleration from the sprinters that we would normally see with them going wide across the road. I kept thinking they must be very close to the line but no rider has started his sprint except the lead out rider Dorian. I guess the sprinters got the timing all wrong or Dorian was really really fast today. 🔥👊🦋👊
@@ChrisHornerCycling Haven't seen much from Felix Gall so far. Hopefully he comes back to great form - TdSuisse and TdF 2023 he did an amazing job.
Dang, Mr Horner you have got this down. Your passion and well executed details are 2nd to none. The easy hand movements are another skill you have mastered. Love you'r son's white with red outlined arrows. Video schmido, we've got arrows! His constant fixing any mistakes you make are how a son loves one upping his Father. Totally wholesome fun. I always imagine the smile in his soul every time he gets to do that.
Hehehe. Garrett can fix just about anything on video to clean and polish it up. For LBL I was way off on the delivery ( monuments have some serious details and a ton of kilometers which adds to the list of details ) and he still straightened it. 😱🦋👊👊👊
🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
I watch, like, and enjoy! -EVERY time! Thank you!
Thank you 👊🦋🙏
Whatever decathlon and Lidl did to their teams, since they took over, both are totally on fire. It's just amazing that both teams seem to have real teamplayers without the lack of confidence to win. They really show how teams without big names can shine.
Decathlon has stepped it for sure. 🦋💪👊
@@ChrisHornerCycling Taking over from the Wolfpack! 🙂
Very cool call Chris! Thanks
Hot damn! Now that was a fooking race! Well done, Chris.
👊🦋
What a drag race today. Thanks for the video. Was hoping to see Alaphillpe as race leader.
Yep. The French man has no good luck on his side so far. But that’s racing. Still was a pretty entertaining stage. 👊🦋🤞
Thanks Chris, the go to source for cycling..
👊🦋🚴♂️
Supreme analysis as always 👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦
Enjoy your analysis Chris. Helps me to understand and enjoy the races.
Thanks 👊🤪
Oops. 👊🦋
Thanks a lot Chris 💜
👊🦋
That was exiting. Thanks
👊🦋
For those not on Flo there is a pirated feed on YT with commentary even. Pic isn't the highest quality but good enough.
👊🦋
@ChrisHornerCycling
No mention of "Chersterfield”. 😉😉😉
Excellent pronounciation on Tim van dIJk, but you still need some improvement on zIJlaard... (It's pronounced the same way.) You're so funny Chris 😂🤣😅😁
I do watch all these races live on television, but would never skip an episode of the butterfly effect ❣🦋
I tried. I got to get a phonetics person on salary. 🤪🦋👊
@@ChrisHornerCycling LOL 😅, no worries you're doing an excellent job Chris... keep up the great work 👊✌
Full leg warmers today...
🥶👊🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Chris! 👏👏👏
❤️🦋👊
It turns out that things go well when you DON’T attack your teammate at the finish. There are some teams that could learn from this.
Sometimes working as team works out. 😂🦋👊
So happy that there’s a “Bruno” in the pro peloton. 🦋👊
Me too. 😂🦋👊
Now Lefevere needs to shut up and let Alaphilippe cook 😅
Wow, no one got called a knucklehead in today’s stage! 😅
It’s a miracle. 😂🦋👊
Great insights as usual Mr Horner really like how you see into the mindsets of the teams. However The Golden Rule is very different and I mean very different from the Rule of Thumb. I think it’s funny to combine the 2 but please look at what the difference is. I think you will have a laugh and probs not use them together in the future. I did find it hilarious thanks for the great coverage
The most important rule is to know when to use the golden rule and when not too. 😂🦋👊⭐️
about the Giro. Could Tadej treat this as “workouts” and merely stay in the top 3 (limiting energy use and emotional use by under-strategizing) and then just win it all in the final two stages? just thought he could manage his output so he sets up well for TdF?
Of course, I’m just daydreaming.
At 11:38 of your video it looks like the Lotto rider is protesting the sprint. Does he have a case? I didn't think so but he's throwing his are like he was impeded. Thoughts?
The Stage where the riders should do Sit-Ups . . . CRUNCH TIME
A few sit ups every day never hurt any one after they are over. 🤪🦋👊💪
Thumbs up
👍🦋👊
Thank you for not using the terrible French accents that that the announcers used.
I got enough problem with English. 😂🦋👊
The racing seems far more interesting without the page one riders in them, also gives Chris plenty of action to analyse for us. Top job from Mr Horner.
What’s the race? It’s not in the title :/
Romandie stage 1 🦋👊
Chris, my dude, Tudor is NOT pronounced "two-door."
😂
It would help me out if you actually gave me the phonetics then. If you are going to tell me I’m wrong then throw me a bone. 🍖 😂🦋👊
Sorry he ain't voiced by AI like "watts" or "cycling highlights" 😂
@@ChrisHornerCycling i think it's "chew-dor"
@@ChrisHornerCycling I'd say "too-duhr" but the Interwebs is also spelling it phonetically as "choo-duh"
wait for marecottes nice local climb can be a decider, its cold at the moment as you can see the clothing today ! decathlon hungry today ! strange sprint but good win ! julian lost his poisson pilote he deserve better ! good stage tomorrow for him ! cycling fiesta at marécottes njoymontblanc
The riders certainly had a lot of clothing on today. Luckily no rain fell. 🥶🦋😱🤞👊
@@ChrisHornerCycling good weather today ,sun, light north wind, cold, no rain . .but should be a great day today with nice vues on mont blanc ,great final climb . watch n njoy ! chx marecottes for me . lenny or julian victory would be good !
You should hold a live RUclips stream during big races
I would love to but we would need sooo much more help/staff then what Garrett and I can do with just two of us doing the work. At NBC we had a whole network making everything happen with people just there to make sure nothing stopped working while shooting live or something as simple as staff to bring food in for us so we did not have to leave the room while watching the race. 🤔🦋👍
