Whoever got your camper was very lucky! I’m glad it’s out helping some new folks make memories- it was sad to see it in the storage lot.
We had to put her into the storage lot for two weeks as our RV park would not allow us to have two trailers. Honestly that was harder than selling her.
If there was a sad button, I would press that. Enjoy your new home, Spirit. We look forward to seeing the new digs and travels.
Yea, it was bittersweet but we needed more space. It was this or a sticks and bricks. Not ready to come off the road.
Dan, you are a awesome video editor... great video... You did a great job building that girl... New owners will appreciate your work for sure...
Thank you and I hope so!
I felt the emotion during the entire video.
Yea, it hurt a little.
My Dad bought an old Scotty when I was a kid and repaired, upgraded, repainted and reconditioned it. It was cramped and the old icebox leaked for 2 years, but when he sold it for a motor home it felt like we lost a family member. We certainly weren’t full-timers but used it in 3 seasons. The motor home was an upgrade and there are good memories with it, but it was “Scotty”! Enjoy the new rig! You’ll always remember Spirit and the toilet, lol
I learned not to get too sentimental with stuff. I had several great cars in my short life and had to let them go quicker than most. I miss aspects of Spirit, but the new space trumps it all. The new toilet helps 😆
Congratulations on the sale, but it is bittersweet.
Enjoy the new mansion on wheels.
It was tough selling her but we needed more room.
Yay new video!
😂
Oh WOW! We just got our first camper, 25' 2003 Flagstaff this week. Found you this morning on a tour of Spirit and in 20 minutes, she is sold!!! We just met and I learned so much, now I'm sad its over, but look forward to following your next adventures!!❤ #emotionalrollercoaster
Happy Roller-coarser!!! You are welcome 😂
That has to be tough handing over something that you put so much time, effort and the memories made in the trailer. I thought of you guys when we were on our Tennessee trip, we pulled into the campground next to a 1964 Boles Aero travel trailer! It was original on the outside but he said he had gutted and started over on the interior. I wish I had taken some photos or video of it, but I am not the best at doing vlogs, I am more of a documentarian. Best to the new owners and to your future travels with your new rig!
Yea, it was bitter sweet. It will be tough when we see another vintage in the road.
Bittersweet but oh so Happy and Excited for you.💕 Hope you continue to update us 😊
Thank you and yes we will. We hope to get back to a normal schedule.
Was it bittersweet?
It was. It was better than when we had to put her into storage… next to all the forgotten RV’s. That was rough.
@@HomeMeetsRoad Im glad she has a home and isn't in the land of forgotten RV's. Did they tell you if they had plans to full time with her, or just for random vacations?
Some boondocking trips this summer and then she may be the first trailer for their vintage RV Park. Not sure yet.
Hi again. On another note, how's the new truck doing? We are looking at purchasing one. Thanks
Truck has been doing great! Love the dually.
yeah, $10k was a good price and now you have a mini mansion on wheels once again...y'all will enjoy that new one!! It is fancy!
