3 US F15E returning to RAF Lakenheath
The first 2 jets have been under heavy maintenance in the US, the 3rd jet is part of 494 sqn but had issues when the sqn returned a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, it was nervy until people saw the tanker hitting UK airspace. Then knew it was towing something lol

Great video, can’t beat the strike eagle. The caption for aircraft 134 said 494th squadron. The tail flash is blue which is 492nd squadron.

It went to the US with 494 I believe. I think they have pooled the Jets. Might be wrong

fanatstic footage,looking at the year of manufacture on the tail those F-15E's look like theve come straight of St.Louis production line,i first saw F-15E's at Lakenheath 1992 Airshow flying with the resisdent F-111F's what a truly beautiful fighter bomber

I saw them leaving early in the day ! They always stay over at Westover and during the day they fly with Mass. Air Guard (F-15 and Vermont Air Guard (F-35s

@@coningsbylive Westover is usually a layover base..N.H and Maine have 2 squadron of Tankers! And here in Western Massachusetts we have the F-15s and C-5M

@coningsbylive Yeah me too 🤣 I was watching the 12hour cut off point getting closer and closer, and I was imagining them turning up just as the stream cut off lol. I suppose the stream wouldn't have cut out, it would have just meant you wouldn't be able to archive it for future viewing.
How long would it take you to close the stream and start a part 2?
