- How to change the Diesel filter on the OM314 engine from Mercedes Benz.
Dieselfilter am OM314 von Mercedes Benz selbst wechseln.
Good video on my om314 filter there is also new rubber seal in the gap I like to change usually supplied with new filter
Yes normally there is ni extra rubber seal with the mentioned filter. So I put it in without an extra seal. But only with this Diesel filter ....
Einfach Toll
Danke schön 🤗
just as black as mine old filter on the OM352 :-) how old was this filter?
and thanks for this quality video, never knew there was a handpump to pump the diesel back in / or to pump oxygen out.
Thank you very much 🙏😍 for your nice comment 👌 That gives me the power to make more videos like this 💪💪 The filter was for about 10000km in that engine. Nice greetings Frank 😊👋
Daumen hoch
👍👍😊😊 Danke schön 🤩 ✌️👋
There is a 10mm bleed. But on side of main pump loosening the nut lets air out fast when hand pumping
Thank you for this helpful additional information 👌👍🤠✌️
@@frank-ivo-schulz yes looking at big pump from inside the nut is on right towards the back at an angle its 10'mm screw undo few turns to bleed
@@ZerHour very good, I will check this when changing the Diesel filter the next time ✌️🤠
The video is excellent! Unfortunately my pump seems to not work, at least it doesn't feel like I'm pumping anything. How do I locate the bleed nut? Or how do I get my engine running without the pump?
@@TimmoVerlaan the bleed nut is 10mm nut you can see it from inside engine /cover off its on the injection pump about 2 o'clock position looking from inside cab its near the back / top 20clock position of big green injection pump on the right of engine above the primer pump , loosen it a turn or so and pump till fuel flows
