Very nice story! I bought a used Big Dog 3 weeks ago, my first day (April 7, last week) was youth baseball Opening Day and did $396 in sales. Over 120 hog dogs, and over $100 per hour! Fields for youth baseball are all over my area, gonna find a Saturday and a Sunday field and one weekday evening over the summer. Gonna make bank and serve good food! Bought your book and read over a few nights. Great info. I'm a past restaurant owner, so this is simple compared to a full restaurant. And better hours! Haute Dawgs Catering, Littleton Colorado.

The best part is, that day was the very first time I cooked on it. I had no time before that day to actually try it out. No friends and family hot dog day for me! I'd watched a lot of Ben's videos on set up, steaming buns, how to price out your food to include all the costs, but never had the time in daylight, or good weather in daylight to try it out. I just crossed my fingers, hitched up my Big Dog and figured that it was good On The Job Training! Ben's videos helped me so much that I was successful without really trying! Thanks again Ben!
Thanks. I didn't feel brave that day. I did have my daughter, 18 year old, with me for support and I owned a restaurant in the past. Figured if it didn't work out, I'd re-hitch it and take it back home and try again another day. But it worked! Just do it!
Great question. I've talked about this before but it's a tricky one. First, many of the listings on Alibaba are fake, as in... the company shown to be making something is just some random company who makes water balloons but lists other items and then will try to find it and get it to you. There is even one company on there that has pics of our carts, our warehouse in background and they say it's theirs. I'd say, if you find a great deal... hire a independent broker in China (you can Google for one) and have them go to the factory and verify first. Alibaba has no real system for you to get recourse if you get taken or defrauded. They claim they do... but due to their size, they literally will ignore your complaint. (seen this with another vendor recently). This doesn't mean there aren't good deals to be had, but do your due diligence thoroughly first. Currently due to the tariffs by the current President of the U.S. - you can expect to pay an additional 48% plus the shipping tariff of about 19.3% above whatever you're quoted.

Excellent video I really enjoyed it and it inspired me. I love that sexy vinyl wrap on the cart, very nice. Does anyone know of a good marketing firm or business that can do wraps and menus and clothes? I tried looking on the learn hotdogs website but I'm a dummy and couldn't find it.
