Hi 11 Mike, I'm 11 Bravo that has been " indoctrinated." Boy, that patch you wear is huge. The big red one. Remember when in OSUT you saw only the follow me patch. My patch is much different. Mine looks different it has a 2 on the left the word RANGER In the middle and bn on the right. It's black and red. Also it's odu green and black. And if my chute don't open wide I gotta another packeddown on my side. And if tha one should fail me too look out below I'm coming thru. It's been a while I hope I got that right lol.

In my opinion, the M270 MLRS is the most powerful artillery unit in the U.S. Army. Its capabilities are just incredible!
the US military is one of the weakest militaries on the planet. we have literally lost every war we've been involved in. this country has done nothing but commit terrorism and those countries that suffered are now bigger and better than America today

When the Bradley fighting vehicles came up, it made me wonder why there hasn't been a vehicle named after Patton yet, or did I miss it? Yes, Bradley deserves an Army vehicle named after him, but IMHO, so does Patton.
There was a medium tank in the late 40’s early 50’s named the Patton.
The M48 tank of the 50s and 60s was named for Patton. We used them extensively in Nam.

Idk, I left the army recently and most line companies are 25% actual soldiers 5% leadership and 70% tik tok soldiers.
What is a tik tok soldier? haven't heard of that one. from a retired soldier
@@keithad6485 I did 14 years in. The tik tok soldier is something I call them. Instead of focusing on the task at hand, they take out their phones and record for tik tok or instagram. I’d hate to see what they’d do at war.

Having all the equipment in the world is nothing without experience. The United States has been in perpetual war since the last two World Wars. They haven't won all their battles, but with those losses, comes more experience and greater lessons to learn from, and every soldier in the US Army painstakingly studies every previous win and losses in order to be more effective on the battlefield both mentally and physically. That's what make them the best.

The weakness Is that the leadership won’t let the army destroy the enemy . General Powel stopped the destruction of the fleeing Iraqi army from Kuwait. We had to fight them after they reorganized and rearmed .

The Army do not use fix wing aircrafts. They do in intel work but 99percent used are helicopters. It is per a agreement with the Air Force worked out the mid 60's.

One thing I noticed with the comments is that a lot of you guys are Veterans, like me Vietnam Era Veteran and of all the branches of the Military, which branch has the most amount of troops whether in Garrison or in the field?Answer is the Army, like me,and what was your MOS,mine was 94B20,my brother was 11B20, in the jungle in Vietnam one tour but besides the fact my other brother worked for GRUMMAN,RYATHEON,AND GENERAL DYNAMICS, all Defense contractors, out in Long Island NEW YORK STATE, and my aunt also worked for the DOD in Albany upstate New York State to the rank of Major GENERAL, and my uncle worked for a Full Admiral at PEARL HARBOR, as a civilian person a lot in my family, and my father was a medic,in the PACIFIC theatre,during WW2,but one guy commented that in 50 years the UNITED STATES ARMY wouldn't be nothing, well I have advice for you my FRIEND, hold your tongue before you talk, because it can get you into big trouble and my son is active Marine Corp I come from a family of past and current military folks, as my niece after 25 years service, retired from the ARMY as a RN.And my nephew was a helicopter mechanic stationed at FORT DRUM,10th mountain division and I hope that I clarified certain parts of the United States military, all branches to include the 82nd,and the 101 Airborne Divisions out of FORT BRAGG,North Carolina, America spends more money on defense of this nation than all of Europe combined, check it out via Google and you will see what I am talking about
