    This is a great video. Lazina and Martin's audio, video, and editing of their videos is truly professional.
    In answer to the gentleman's question at the beginning of the video the engine generator is a Westerbeke 5.0 MCGA 60 Hz 3 cylinder 4 cycle overhead camshaft water cooled gasoline engine. The generator is a 5.0 KW 120 volts 41.6 amps.
    We would have detailed the boat if we knew letsgochannelsurfing was coming. 😎

    Hi Martin and Lazina. Love watching your videos. You have totally changed my opinion of what I want in my next boat. At the 23 min mark you mention another channel that you watch. Can you share their channel name please.

      They don’t have a channel just some RangerTug friends of ours

      Oh Ok. You should do a boat tour of theirs if they would let you.

    this is pretty cool. i wonder if they will offer the larger ranger tugs in either inboard diesel and outboard options.

      There's a rumor going around that an RT35 is on the horizon with twin Yamaha 425's. 35 foot Ranger Tug.
      It's just a rumor at this point.

      @@Letsgochannelsurfing thatd be pretty nuts. the r27 would just fit us, but and r31 fits us better. but then the r31 is to slow for what we want to do currently. i am interested in this bigger faster tug :)

    I live in the Annapolis area and been boating the Chesapeake and all it’s rivers for 50 yrs and I can firmly say that law enforcement is very hesitant to board a boat with a Coast Guard safety inspection sticker on it BUT it has to be for that current year and if it’s not it’s almost a guarantee that they’ll board your boat.
    I really like these Rangers and Cutwaters and especially this 32 but I wonder if there’s a Seakeeper option, I have it on my Grady White 330 Express and will now never own a boat without it. My gripe with my boat is that with the twin 425 hp Yamaha’s and seakeeper etc. my draft is fairly deep so I’m looking for less draft.

      @Letsgochannelsurfing  2 года назад

      The R43 has an option for a sea keeper. The rest of the boats don't get that as a factory option. I do know of one RT27-OB though that was retrofitted with a Seakeeper and it worked really well.

    If cutwater ever offers a Helm Master System for this boat, Im in.

    • @Letsgochannelsurfing
      @Letsgochannelsurfing  2 года назад +1

      Helm Masters would be nice. Fluid Motion (who makes Ranger Tug and Cutwater Boats) recently announced another line of boats they're now making. Solar boats. Targeted more towards the Florida market I think. Solara boats has joystick control with twin engines. www.solaraboats.com

    A bit late in the game here but I was wondering if you can run on just one of the outboards when there isn't really a need for both? Seems that it could save some fuel depending on the situation.
    Also, is this boat trailerable without permits?

    • @Letsgochannelsurfing
      @Letsgochannelsurfing  Год назад +1

      You can operate the boat with a single engine. The boat has a 10' wide beam, so it needs a permit when trailering.

    What's the fuel burn/mpg for this boat? Particularly at cruise?

    • @Letsgochannelsurfing
      @Letsgochannelsurfing  2 года назад +1

      I suspect it's around 0.8mpg'ish.

    • @floridabornoutdoors

      @@Letsgochannelsurfing interesting. I would have hoped it was more than that. That's not a lot of range for a boat that size.

    • @Letsgochannelsurfing
      @Letsgochannelsurfing  2 года назад +2

      @@floridabornoutdoors All of Ranger Tug (and Cut water boats) are inter-coastal cruisers. They can handle some off-shore, but they need to be within range of the fuel dock.

    Like a 28, with a couple extra feet of swim deck.

      The C28 is 32' LOA... a C32 is 38' LOA. Those twin engine outboards stick off the back considerably.

    10' beam on 38' length, 1,100 lbs of engines on the far end of a 10,000 lb boat. Those are ugly specs. Wonder how much fun a 2 hour passage in 2' of beam reach seas, is. I guess you just wait it out, making french fries in your air fryer.

    • @Letsgochannelsurfing
      @Letsgochannelsurfing  Год назад +1

      I know the owner of this boat has had it out in 6 foot seas. Wasn't any fun he said. But then again, 6 foot seas aren't much fun in any small boat.
