  • Cutwater Boats' West Coast Sales Manager, Dan Sadler takes you on a sea trial and shows off some of the features and benefits of the Cutwater 242 Coupe. (To learn about the current version, the C-24 Coupe, visit: www.cutwaterboats.com/models....)
    Believe it or now, there are many more features on this boat than Dan talked about. A lighted compass, wrap around storage under the forward berth, indirect cabin lighting, and the list goes on! Learn more about the C-242 Coupe here: www.cutwaterboats.com/models.a...
    Some features may be changed in the updated C-24 C, or no longer available such as the bow lounger and forward docking lights.

    Great review. We saw one today at the Phila boat show and it blew us away. We have been looking for a smaller cruiser that is fishing friendly and has an actual salon that can be air conditioned. This is the perfect fit. We are doing an on-water trial next weekend, and are very excited that it may be our next boat.

    Well Dan,that is one beautiful vessel and very well thought out.
    As an avid west coast boater this is a dream boat for me. It gives me inspiration to push a little harder and achieve the ability to purchase comfortably.
    Nice presentation!

    Id rather have a SeaRay Sundancer 350 coupe , however after I leave my fantasy land in my head, and look at what I can afford I see this Cutwater 242 is one of if not the best value and quality boat you will find, oh sure there are other boats around the same money (maybe) but not the fit and finish and detailed features, to me having a cabin & A/C with a coupe enclosed helm is priority plus im a beginner this is a boat someone new can really learn and enjoy, plus most cabin cruisers never give you fishing amenties (live well) etc. basically you get it all and its got style wood appointments its beautiful price looks good also. Thanks David !

    He lost me with the open head and shower in the fwd berth. I guess I'm spoiled by the cheap Mc motor yachts of my childhood having full enclosed heads on sub 30' hulls. But I'm really feeling the vessel otherwise.
    This also gives me feelings of the Ranger Tugs trailerable line of boats.

    Serious question: how can an electric grill and a saltwater livewell share the same real estate? Seems like that's a short waiting to happen.

    • @navajasrs2402
      @navajasrs2402 2 года назад

      From the Fluid Motion owners I've encountered or from whom I've heard, they bag the Kenyon grill and never use it. Apart from that, I think the design intent is you use the live well while you're out, head back to the marina, drain it, prep the fish, plug into shore, unbag the Kenyon and cook it up.

      @@michaelsmith9308 you miss the point. American industry is not going to last. I'm older then you i think. And Japanese products were not usable in the 60s, except fire crackers. But at the surrender of WW2 the emperor of Japan stated that, American military has defeated us but Japanese industry will defeat America. So anybody that buys their products are supporting a major attack on America. Our government even helped them through the 70s change over to selling in our country. I had a few bikes and i always sold the Japanese ones cause I really felt like a traitor owning them. I'll stop now, i get excited.
