Erik, Thank you. I do enjoy educating and showing off boats! Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats are a very unique and versatile vessel. I intend to create more videos in the future. Here in Florida the boat selling season is in full force. Late Spring or Early Summer I hope to have more available. Here is a link to a few of my current listings: www.allcaptainsyachtsales.com/brokerprofile/danacys/
Hi would love to see more videos. My dad and I are looking to get a new boat. So would definitely love to see someone video. The walk-throughs are so helpful thanks
Thank you for viewing the video and I do appreciate your comments. Will continue to create these videos to educate on key features and functionality of a variety of vessels.
Jack, I really appreciate your comments. I do enjoy making the videos sharing information and educating boaters. I intend to make more videos once the Florida boat show season slows down here in April.
We NEED ONE!!! Thank you so much for this video Dan, you do a FANTASTIC JOB! SUBSCRIBED! Have an awesome weekend! -Emily & Aaron at Flying Sparks Garage
We just had the Southern RV & Boat Show in Houma, LA. I complained on their Facebook page that all they ever have are fishing boats. Other companies should be invited like Ranger, Jeanneau, Sea Ray and the like. This boat really is an RV that goes where others can’t!
Thanks for viewing and commenting! I believe the nearest dealer is located in Pensacola, FL (Perdido Key). They would be the ones to be involved and participate with inventory in the show. I am sure they would appreciate your input and be willing to show you their inventory up close should you be in the area.
That’s a great boat. I love walkthroughs like this. I think I would want something with a bigger kitchen. Do you have anything like this a little bigger? I’d love to see a video on it.
Thanks for viewing! It looks like the commenters may have redirected you to additional information. The R-29, R-31, and R-41 may suit your expanded kitchen options.
Hi K; the next step up is the R-29. The "kitchen" (called the galley on a boat) is a little larger, but not much. The 29 has a real bed instead of a convertible v-berth, which is nice, but it doesn't have the built-in grill station on the transom, having a flip seat instead. The biggest difference is that the 27 has a gasoline outboard engine, while the 29 has a diesel inboard. The 27 is faster, while the 29 has greater range. Finally, the 29 is 10 feet wide, so you need a permit to tow it on the highways, versus the 27's 8'6" that doesn't require a permit. The two are really aimed at somewhat different boating styles. Here's an older video of the R-29: ruclips.net/video/JU5mkvh113I/видео.html
Larry, Glad you liked the video and I really appreciate you comments. I love making the videos and working to get more made once the Florida boat show season slows down in April.
I thought I remember reading somewhere that the electric grill was removable and you could have a livewell or ice chest underneath. But it wasn't mentioned. Is that only available on certain models? Or was that feature not available on 2019 model?
Sea Keeper says they can install on the R27 outboard. Generator has to be moved and hull needs reinforcement in engine/generator compartment. RANGER TUGS/FLUID MOTION DOES NOT WARRANTY THIS INSTALL. Had it priced at approximately 20k.
It's not. It's under the helm. The door is in the head, but you would never have the door open while steaming up the place. Also note the rubber seal on the door.
@@Krispy1011 It's a reasonable concern, but yacht builders have been using this configuration for decades without trouble. Uninspectable wiring has always been a far greater problem in my world.
Nice how much? And do some more videos I need more options. I definitely agree with that other comment walk through like this are hard to come by so keep up the good work.
Christine, Ranger Tugs does make quite the line of boats. Here is a link to the spec sheet on the Ranger Tugs R-27 Outboard model: www.rangertugs.com/Userfiles/Docs/R-272/R-27-Spec-Sheet-web-030620.pdf
Absolutely! Just hauled one for a client from Florida to Tenn for a trip on the Tennessee River. A 250/2500 series truck is recommended. 150/1500 can handle with the proper towing package. 4 wheel drive can be beneficial on a slippery ramp.
I had exactly the same thought and couldn't wonder why it wasn't on the reverse side of the wall in the area of the TV. Other than that I think it's as near perfect as any boat that size could possibly be....well done video!
Did you get that wrecked boat you bought fixed yet? I'd bet you feel pretty stupid for buying a used boat sight unseen and without a survey. Especially a boat with a hole in the hull.
@@seikibrian8641 So like when they say McDonalds is made "with 100% pure beef" a cow just needs to be in the room with the other non beef ingredients? "lowering down" and "raising up" have been part of the lexicon of English for well over 100 years. I didn't "get" it because it was stupid.
I'm a fan of the Ranger Tugs, but the R-27 is not one of my favorites. Way too expensive and way too many cheap ways of doing things. For over 200 grand I want a real mattress and a real stateroom. I want a seat that isn't bolted to the counter top. It's a great boat, but no way should it be at the price point it's at.
The r27 is a great boat, quality is expensive. It has a comfy stateroom without wasting floorspace,The seat bolted to the countertop is very nice touch. When not cruising it gives lots countertop area, otherwise comfortable stable seat for one adult
That, in my humble opinion, is the perfect boat. Everything you need. Nothing you don't.
I'd take this over a comparable size express cruiser any day. Dream boat right here.
Thats right, more all season boat andmore efficient.Kinda like a small appartment
Kind of an interesting place to have your electric connectors is a shower room . Correct my friend!
Its just a waterproof acess panel to get behind dash, very clever nothing gonna get corroded its not the fuse panel
Wow! Such a clever and well-thought out use of space in the cabin...the fold-down door on the oven is really cool!
A really great boat and you do a great job of showing it off would love to see what else you have for sale so some videos would be great 👍🏻

Perfect boat for me. Thank you I buy one fishing weekend getaways
Dan , as boat owners , some of us like to be told about the hull construction and mechanical of the boat . Thanks
I will work on this aspect more. Thanks for watching and your feedback. Much appreciated
My new favorite boat.
Very well thought out, where would I install a live bait well though
Nice tour but I question whether the trim in the bathroom or real wood because of the water & moisture
Nice presentation! Are you folks going to be at the Annapolis Boat Show?
That’s a great boat.

K Branch They have all the way to a 41’ for over half a mill.
You might like the 31 foot. Just go to rangertugs.com

The kitchen, galley area is actually much bigger than boats ten feet bigger
Nice Boat 👍🏻
Thank you Eric!
Nice boat and good walk through. Just wondering if you have any other boats? Crazy about seeing some videos on them if you do.
Larry, Glad you liked the video and I really appreciate you comments. I love making the videos and working to get more made once the Florida boat show season slows down in April.
So wait....the TV is on a adjustable support arm? OMG it's a miracle! Next you be telling me there are cushions. And all that for $300k.
Very cute boat
wHEN IS THE R29 GONNA GET TWIN OUTBOARDS ALREADY??????
And a pilothouse door like the nice european models?
What else you got?
I’d really like to see a few more boats.
Love the walkthrough videos.
I have several other vids I have not had time to edit. The boat business has been positively demanding. Thanks for watching!
Great video! Some people say that the BBQ uses too much power so it is not feasible to use during cruising. What is your thought? Thank you.
And with a a price tag of only $225 grand, plus tax!! Can you opt for a more reliable American outboard, like Mercury?
i will take the Yamaha
I thought I remember reading somewhere that the electric grill was removable and you could have a livewell or ice chest underneath. But it wasn't mentioned. Is that only available on certain models? Or was that feature not available on 2019 model?

I'm not too crazy about having fuses etc... in the wet steamy bathroom - not something I like
Just commented essentially the same thing.

About $275k
Where is the generator located;
I assume that is an option along with AC; or am I wrong?
disregard the question; I see on the brochure they are standard
Glad you located, thanks for the inquiry!
hope the breaker cup board is waterproof!!!!
Ok I’m liking this. Talk to me prices and make it low.

would have been nice to see if it really had a helm station ....
Electronics in the wet head... i don't know about that lol
How much as shown ?
This would be a great video if not for that crazy foreground music.
So all the fuses are in the wet head area??
I know, that had me take pause too:)
What's the reason these boats are so expensive? There are 35,38 foot fully equipped boats with twin 300 Yamahas that are about the same price.
Like merry fisher 895
So glad you didn’t literally shows how the head works
A RangerTug?? With an outboard Motor?
All models under 29 feet are now outboard-powered.
No need for background music, it is distracting.
Really appreciate you input! Thank you for viewing and commenting..
Can I trailer it?

what is the bridge clearance ?
i found it on the spec. sheet, disregard question.
300 horsepower, ON the twenty-seventh ranger????? It must be an indescribable feeling????
We bought a 2016 R-27 classic with the D3-220 Volvo.
I wonder why RT went with the outboard.
I love my diesel!
Maybe because it will give you over 40 mph & 20 mph cruise ? ! For the same fuel consumption . Ya , maybe ? !
