  • Watch to see how we prepped our pond build for fiberglassing! In this video we finish the lip for the viewing window and use foam board to smooth out and insulate the pond before fiberglass. Mistakes were made, but we corrected them just in time. Make sure to subscribe and watch for Part 2 to see how we fiberglass the whole pond!

    great stuff,you've given me plenty of ideas for my pond, but for filling the cinder blockwork, I think a large plastic jug might be a better idea.

    A notched trowel would of spread that adhesive much more evenly for better bonding, obviously just covering more surface area. Although I’m sure that will lock down just fine. But similar to putting down tile or any large surface it’s best to get the adhesive consistently over the whole piece.

      Hey I love your videos! Wish you were closer to me so I didn’t have to do this myself 😅 lol. Appreciate your videos though, they helped me a lot!

      @@ALifeExotic Doesn’t look like they helped you after looking at all of your videos. My videos are not labelled as tutorials or advice videos for the exact reason you’re is messed up. It’s impossible to learn my trade by watching videos. Would have gladly helped you if you’d have asked me.

      @@GRPLiningServices Hmm after that comment I don’t get the feel that your much the helping type. But that’s ok. I don’t have professionals locally to learn this from (or to do it for me) so I had to do it myself after as much research as I could do. If the work is hard and mistakes get made that need to be fixed, so be it. If that’s what I have to do to learn something new I’m more then willing. I’m not selling a product or service, I’m doing this all for myself so I don’t see what the problem with me trying to learn myself is.

    Dude can you just fiberglass to the blocks

    • @ALifeExotic
      @ALifeExotic  Год назад

      You could but it would be super rough and ugly. Plus the foam adds insulation. The outside cinderblocks get super cold in the winter so having some insulation is nice
