How to change the headlight settings for right and left traffic on a Mercedes with intelligent LED

I am explaining how to change the headlight settings for right or left traffic on a Mercedes with LED Intelligent Light System, or similar systems with adaptive LED lights. This is a necessary setting if you have a car designed for countries with trafic on the right, for example, and travel into a country with traffic on left, or viceversa - if you have a car made for UK, for example, and travel to mainland Europe. This setting will let you avoid blinding upcoming traffic during night time.
