This is honestly like assembling the "Avengers" of the 1960s/70s gospel music artists.
I can’t believe they were such big fans of will wood they made this entire song about his lyrics
"Avengers: endgame is the most ambitious crossover ever made"
Johnny cash: "Hold my microphone"
Lmao 🤣 yes
This song deserves 4 more names
This is the sound of true happiness. Praise the Lord
I never thought a Will Wood song would bring me to one of Cash's song. The more you know I guess...😂❤
Always a lighthouse
Always a man
Always a city...
Wait, this song was in Bioshock? There’s so much in that game that’s easy to miss, isn’t there?
At the very beginning. It's playing in the lighthouse when you first get dropped off. @@matthewwyman1581
Yeah it's in the beggining when you enter the lighthouse in infinite truly the best game ever :)@@matthewwyman1581
Bring us the girl, wipe away the debt.
I miss these days. I was a kid my grandparents and my parents uncles aunts were all still alive 😢
YES! Praise God! This is what we need today!
What a lineup!! Only Johnny Cash could assemble such diversity on stage.
Yepp, music royalties a la supeise.😮
Amazing that Johnny could assemble such a wonderful cast.
Layne Brooks he truly was amazing
That shows how much he was respected by other artists and that it was an honor to appear in his show. Further at this time he was on the top of his fame. He was an
International Superstar. /CD
maybe out of gratitude ...
Back when We knew who We were!!!!
Back to our roots
Lets Go!!
Listen to Mahalia Jackson belt it out. She steals the show. Truly amazing singer.
galept Yes the first time I watched it I was amazed to hear her voice soaring over all the other groups. She's the only solo 'act' on the line up and she still overpowers all the other singers on the roster.
galept She was a magnificent gospel singer.
galept sorry but that's June Cash belting. You can tell when the camera pans to her at the beginning.
Looking around It’s Mahalia. It seems like that entire song was prerecorded, but that’s definitely Mahalia you hear.
Looking around I take it you don’t know what Mahalia Jackson sounds like singing in a group. That’s her contralto soaring above all the other voices.
ALL GLORY GOES TO GOD!! WE NEED MORE OF THIS TODAY, TOO MUCH HATE. AMEN AND GOD BLESS!!🙏❤️👍
Mahalia Jackson - you can pick out her voice from all the others
She was and is the greatest gospel singer ever.
@@maryplaidy6814 But Vestal Goodman is as great as she
@@elrasraven4085 I loved Vestal Goodman's singing, too. She and Mahalia Jackson were the greatest but in different spheres.
@@maryplaidy6814
Bar none!
Stuart Hamblen as well. Two very unique and wonderful voices
JUST WHO ✝️ I NEEDED. !
Oh look everyone! Everyone singing together. This is America.
You can hear Mahalia's contralto soaring above the other guests. Rest her soul she truly enjoyed making a joyful noise unto the Lord.
Yeah she loved the lord she sang her heart out Something u sadly don’t see in today’s gospel instead we get mediocre gospel singers now like bethel etc
she did that!
Yes Indeed! Mahalia voice was too powerful! The thing about it Johnny Cash was on lead & Mahalia sang the refrain or chorus along with the guests and vocally stood out among them. Just think if she was singing the lead, her voice would’ve went up to another notch
Insane vocals and musicianship on that stage.
This is literally a bunch of Godly , legendary artist together , dame I wish u was their that day
I actually love this
Now now that's music that's the way it should be played
Wow what a lineup! Most gone on to glory now... RIP
He was a changed man I loved his gospel songs!!
Very interesting part of American history.
It would be fun to see this entire episode.
Wow‼️ That was a lot of famous singers on that stage! Great song. 💜
Back when people were real.
Make no mistake, johnny is a robot humanoid there's nothing real about him
@@Press-Star-ToPlay what💀
You mean like when he was sleeping with that June Carter whore while still married to his first wife? Then Johnny and June cavorted with that hillbilly Bible thumping bigot, Billy Graham, during his road shows.
I guess people are just a fiction of our imagination since 1995
You’re so close minded
Yes you can certainly hear that glorious voice of MJ WOW I LOVE HER! Johnny Cash is my fav! 🙏💗
The old time godly true voices of the South in an America now lost to sin and shame. Many thanks to Johnny Cash. My he and the others RIP.
Sure would love to see the whole show.
WoW what an evening of Praise unto The Lord!!! It IS good enough for me :)
John Cash stood for his boundless Christian belief. What an artist!! So GREAT!! /CD
Yes especially his drug addiction. So boundless indeed. You guys really need to start to understand what Christians look and act like. This is all for show. Not real religion here. Just using God to push their own agendas and glory.
@@icheko2498 its called repentance. And i believe Johnny did that. The bible teaches that ALL have sinned and fallen short. That's why when the holy spirit calls you to repentance you do it (hopefully) and ask Christ for forgiveness and change your evil ways so you can go to heaven ❤
God didn't come to save people who think they're holy. God came to save sinners who know they've done wrong.
So much talent on one stage
The song with five names 😱
I'm glad I found another Will fan 😂
Here I am again! 💃 💃 🎶
Emocionante ver e ouvir Johnny Cash cantar. ❤️❤️
i cant believe johnny cash made a song based on The Song with Five Names, a.k.a. Soapbox Tao, a.k.a. Checkmate Atheists! a.k.a. Neospace Government, a.k.a. You Can Never Know (feat. Alex Nauth)
I KNOW RIGHT! (The more you know 😂)
Johnny Cash was one of the best singer's.

Rusty Shackleford and I doubt you’ll live another year if you catch the good ol ronavirus. Which would be sad because you’ll never get to see the south “rIsE aGaIn”.

Reminds me of taking ❤Grandma to her first 🎶 concert ... she luved JOHNNY CASH !
Love this old song. Love to sing old gospel song.
Throwback to the Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman show. Johnny Cash was even on the episode they sung this song in!
It makes my mind wander when I listen to this, and then look right under this video and see titles for videos talking about the world preparing for a third world war.
Beautiful
Am I the only one who came here from will Wood?
nope :)
No
I love this song…I would tell the Rabbis in my childhood days, when they would try to add some ridiculous law to the Bible… “if it was good enough for Moses, then it’s plenty good enough for me!”
Also, living in South Africa, Billy Graham came on a tour here in 1988…and we were so used to being condemned by the rest of the world, that I thought he would just add to the chorus. No. He stood up and said in a stadium of thousands, “The reason the world hates you is because you are Christian and because you do follow God!”
I am not Christian, but my Lord that hit home!!! The courage to say that impressed me!
Yes, it’s become fashionable to say much against Billy Graham these day, but you will NEVER hear it from me!!!
wee woo
Awesome ❤❤
I want to see this whole show 🙏🏾🙏🏻🙏🏿🙏🏼🙏🙏🏽⚠️
Oakridhe and Statlers! Wow! The others are great, too. This is what we need.

I needed somethin' to cheer me up a bit, put a little iron back in the ol' spiritual spine, help me ward off the world just a bit.

People of different colors and backgrounds coming together joyfully as equals; too bad the mainstream media won't have any of that anymore...
Especially the religion thing
@@irocktoally I would say especially the different colors and backgrounds; their overarching goal is to divide us on our differences like skin color, make us into tribes, and cause us to hate each other. That is why they hate Christianity so much, since it teaches us that in the eyes of God, we are all equal, and nothing stops the hate the leftist media wants like us knowing that we are not different in any significant way.
@@chouyi007 you say leftist media but the left is usually more supportive of equality such as the lgbtq+ witch is all about people being united. that doesn't say everyone on the left are good people most definitely, but grouping everyone into a negative stereotype and blaming big world problems on the left or the right is the same kind of thinking that can create problems like racism in the first place.
Reminds me of BHS buea
Bioshock Infinite ;)
Came here from Tufto's 001 proposal discussion.
someone give these people some old time religion!
Alrighty then *gives pagan witchcraft*
i think the guy at 1:17 is the author of it is no secret and this old house. ironically a guy who wasn't known (at least at that stage of his life) for his religion actually contributed the song title to one and was with stuart when he wrote the other. apparently stuart and this actor had been up in the back country hiking, hunting etc, when they discovered a corpse in a cabin with a dog sitting watch. apparently on the ride back down to civilization stuart wrote what would be likely his most famous song this old house. on it is no secret, he'd shared his testimony with his friend and actor and made some remark about well i guess it's no secret what God can do and the actor friend said that that sounded like a great song title. with in a couple of days stuart had it written and music for it. the actor? he was born marion morrison.......... but most of us would learn to love him as an actor under his better known name........... john wayne? and yes even now, you know the rest of hte story................. sorry i couldn't resist.
i've heard that expression joyful noise before can't figure where now i'll have to research its origin
timothy carter It's found in Psalm 100 in the Bible.
I dedicate this song to northern Europe...
they really need to get back on track.
as a swede i say thank you, we really need it
Praise jesus
Raptor Sjoberg yea I seen the main church in denmark.
There doctrine has been changes because of the government and the grown atheist population.
God Bless and keep strong.
I wish we can send a bunch of black Baptist to the Nordic nations Lol that will spread the gospel like wild fire.
Thanks, we could do with some of this in the UK.
