@@BreakzTerrorist btw THE ALBUMS is out! It’s called ANGEL NUMBERS, it’s produced with the Volca BASS, FM, MODULAR, DRUM, KICK, BEATS, SAMPLE as well as a really cool pedal board made by korg as well called the Korg PME 40x, I also used a unicorn called the St-305, monotron delay and a few more gems.

is it wrong to assume that the attenumixerverter section can be used as a ring modulator (summing the a-bxc and a+bxc), with the c attenuator controlling the modulation amount?
You can indeed use the attenumixerverter to create a ring modulator. Simply take the outputs of the modulator and the carrier and put them into b and c and then take either of the outputs and feed it back into the gate.
You can do Ring Modulation as follows; Take a patch from both of the oscillator outputs at the SCORCE; The right output is the Carrier signal, take this to the B input of the UTILITY The left of these two outputs is the Modulator (has a Triangle wave denotation), take this to the C input on the UTILITY Using the pot of input C at the UITILITY as well as the RATIO pot at the SOURCE you can control the Ring Modulation. Now take a Patch from a+bxc to wherever you require it, e.g. the signal input of the left LPG.
How do I invert the Sequence module's "Pitch" control when connected to the reverb so that lower pitches have longer reverb than higher notes (i.e. the opposite of what happens when connecting Pitch directly to the space delay)??

@@dinogoldie9716 Glad to be of help. The Modular is a little gem, I have 2 and love tinkering with them. Every time I use them I find out something new, the time spent is often rewarding and I always enjoy the process. They lack effects, so using a pedal or something is advised, run them through a Korg NTS-1 for some Modulation, Delay and Reverb, the results are often outstanding!
confirmed :) i have VM for like 6 months and it brings me incredible joy :) not sure if these modules in full size would be able to sleep with me in my bed :) wiring ruls even with my sausage fingaz
PLEASE rehouse the Volca Modular in a eurorack-compatible form factor and add MIDI connectivity. I'd gladly pay £400 for the same feature set but with 3.5mm patch sockets.

Thanks for this entire series of videos. The big picture made clear of this mysterious box!
Great tutorial but I just wish the camera shots were better to see exactly where the patch points are being made to give a better understanding.
watching this so I can use it for a song on my next album
no1 cares about your next album actually

Wow, Look at the tiny cute patch cables.
Would I damage the v modular if I use the voltage of an arduino? Specifically the 3.3v output?

love ya Nick but looks like you forgot to unpatch the woggle output from your neck input!
LOL :)

I would try going into the utility to try to invert it. This is a MAJOR guess/idea to try... as I am new to my Volca Modular.
Where is Luke from Korg?!
great post dude...very helpful...
How do I set up the Utility section to work as a ring modulator?
Take a patch from both of the oscillator outputs at the SCORCE;
The right output is the Carrier signal, take this to the B input of the UTILITY
The left of these two outputs is the Modulator (has a Triangle wave denotation), take this to the C input on the UTILITY

so much into 200$. To have the same in Eurorack would cost 10 times that, at least... crazy.
