I absolutely love your hair. You inspired me as I was going grey. Really enjoy your videos. I am now fully transitioned at this point I am more silver underneath and darker on top. I was anti aging, and now I am pro aging. An my hair is healthy. Healthy hair is always going to be a good look. Thank you for your inspiration. Natural process. It has changed me more than just the hair changing. But it changes the way I think and feel about the changes. You have hair that would definitely be noticed. Its beautiful

Thank you! I feel the same as you - I’m pro aging now. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life trying to recapture the past. It’s not an easy mind shift to make but it helps make life more pleasant for sure! ♥️

Yup that is a big input into my decision. Root touchup and trim and tip adds up every month. Also time sitting in salon while you get it done. I’m only 14w in but enjoying the process

My grey hair journey *would* have been a cost savings had I a crystal ball that told me lockdown was going to last two years; instead of placing a minimum order of 70 bucks to get the free shipping (for hair color from Sally Beauty when all the stores were closed), only *afterwards* deciding to go natural a few months later... while making every mistake possible through trial and error. To that effect, I currently own dozens of products relating to toning, conditioning, protecting, and enhancing gray hair.... If you tend to obsess and overdo things, you will probably spend your usual amount 🙄

I made the decision last night to ditch the dye..... again! I was dye free from 2014 to 2022. It was a WONDERFUL experience, especially during COVID lockdown when salons were closed. I loved my natural silver and salt & pepper hair. But then I got COVID three times, the first time being the worst, and i lost A LOT of hair afterwards. When it grew back, the color was dull, and the texture was horroble, and my curls even changed. So I decided to go nsck to dyeing and also getting Brazilian blowout treatments. For awhile, this seemed like a good solution, except for my poor wallet. Besides the financial ramifications, my scalp has been suffering. I have a history of seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp, which flares up sometimes, but it has been bad lately, and it's definitely being made worse by the every four weeks hair dye. My scalps gets terrible crusts and scabs that are much worse following the hair dye. So, last night, I decided that I AM DONE! I am nervous about the transition because, this time, I am choosing not to do a pixie and keep my chin length bob and grow out the color. I know I am going to face comments and opposition especially at my job because that happened the last time i transitioned in 2014, and that was with a pixie and relatively quick grow out. But i am ready! Thank you for your wonderful videos!! They are so comforting and helpful. You look amazing!

Thank you! I’m so glad you’re ditching the dye - all those symptoms could only get worse over time. Dye allergies just get worse and can be dangerous. You’ll be so happy to be done with all that!
