I rarely comment on videos but I really love your depth of knowledge and love of Taiwanese food and culture. My family lived a few blocks from TongHua and every time I visit Taiwan, I always go there. So many good memories and nostalgia. Thank you for really showing what Taiwan has to offer. Taiwan, with its wealth of night markets, is a country travelers love going back to again and again for the food. From hot pot to boba to lu rou fan to beef noodle soup, there is so much good food to be had in Taiwan and for cheap too. Happy hungry! Cheers, Domenico.

Buddy, awesome video. Those dumplings with vinegar and ginger looked divine. Dumplings (pot stickers in particular) are my total favourite - I pierce them with a single chopstick hole so a little vinegar gets in too! So cool that you've been invited there by the ministry to look at their indigenous food and culture - that's your creator-DNA through and through (they chose well!) - great work. Another little idea would be to tour Taiwan's most authentic food producers/exporters - the ministry would love that I reckon...and you'd be the perfect person to meet the producers, sample their produce and speak with the owners. The resulting video from each visit could also be used by each producer as a marketing piece. Anyway, seriously loving your content! P.S great that you have a new companion to share your travels with - super important too.

Nice video. Just an FYI, the hot plate steak meal, it is a very common way to eat at Hong Kong Style cafes (like an equivalent to a greasy spoon). In HK, you can even get one where you get different meats like beef, pork, chicken, hotdog, ham, chicken wing, and potatoes and some even give you an egg. The rice or spaghetti is usually served on the side so it doesn't burn. You should try it sometime.

Nice video. Just an FYI, the hot plate steak meal, it is a very common way to eat at Hong Kong Style cafes (like an equivalent to a greasy spoon). In HK, you can even get one where you get different meats like beef, pork, chicken, hotdog, ham, chicken wing, and potatoes and some even give you an egg. The rice or spaghetti is usually served on the side so it doesn't burn. You should try it sometime.
