My wife and I always say we're going to do this, and I'm finally doing it now: we've wanted to tell you all for so long how much our 5 yr old daughter LOVES your channel. Every day after school, she asks us to put DFB on the TV. She loves hearing your voice, AJ, and she loves watching everything the DFB team shows us throughout Disney. Thank you for everything you all do! ❤💚
always love to see mention of military benefits like Shades of Green, military discounts on Disney resorts and the great Salute ticket packages (prices recently announced for 2024). now we're waiting to hear from Universal; their Freedom Pass is amazing!
I want Disney to provide us non residents the ability to have a different annual pass that's not the highest tier. Some of us non residents want an annual pass that's more mid level since we go for 2-3 days at a time to Disney during the year.
Yes! My neighbor and her family go twice a year and I have no idea how! My mom and I want to go for 2 days. I’m in Heart and Lung Failure and I can’t do a whole lot, but I love Disney! My mom deserves a second change after getting sick back in the 90s and missing all of the fun. I missed all of the fun in 2005 and 2016 not getting to do what all I wanted or enjoy it. The price for 2 days is insane!
Step 1... Tell ll your friends and family that you only want Disney gift cards as gifts for your birthday and Christmas. This will help you save a lot. Trust me.
That's exactly what I did this year for our marching band's trip to Disney we:re taking. We literally leave about 2.5 days from me writing this, and not counting what my parents are giving me for food, I'm gonna have about $400+ to take down there
AP holders get so much more than DVC members. They get regular freebies at Epcot, for example; we haven't had a freebie even with our bi-monthly magazine for at least a year. It would also be nice if we could get free parking at the parks even when we're staying off site - especially now it's $30 a day to park! I can't even get a one-night booking at a studio in order to qualify for the AK membership magic event next April.
My first memories of WDW are from 1998 when we stayed at Shades of Green- I thought I'd imagined the hotel because I never saw it again after that (my dad finished his time in the military), until my mom brought it up years later 😅
It's obvious, by looking at these crowds, that there are more people than I know, that have the pleasure to meet these prices. I don't know how they do it, but more power to them!!!
this is one place were Disneyland Paris is better, there is no park hopper. i could spend my day in magic kingdom leave to get dinner in Walt Disney studios and come straight back without an extra ticket ad on.
Heading out in less than 2 weeks. 100% disabled boyfriend got us eligible for Shades of Green - 2 nights and less than $400 5 days of tickets with Park Hopper and water park. 2 nights Pop Century so less bus travel. Disney employee upgraded room to preferred with discount. 2 nights Wyndham. 2 nights Wyndham Garden. $750 in gift cards from Target - but some of that is to treat nieces and one spouse to Olivias. Boyfriend doesn't drink so less $$ there - and it's only an occasional wine / cider for me.
Lucky enough to be able to book places through AFVC and it seems like I won’t be going back because resort stays are just insane compared to what you can book for a week though that
About Shades of Greens and its Exchange store, can you use a Disney gift card to pay at the Exchange or hotel own by DoD? I would not think so, but can you?
So, does this mean the DVC Fort Wilderness cabins will be considered a Deluxe resort and guests will get the deluxe perks? Also, really hoping for a pull down bed and not the old pullout.
Im going this week and Im lucky enough to not have to pay for tickets and my hotel was 50% off. Most of the money I take will only be for food, I don't plan to buy souvenirs
We just recently took a trip to Disney, in California we drove first and we stayed at a nearby hotel @Residents Inn nice hotel and just minutes from the park! I brought my snacks to the park, water, and tea, and souvenirs bought at Amazon or Walmart, way less cheaper than in side the parks we ate at the park where we wanted to eat and we still came home with a few bucks left..
Disney is going to price themselves out of business, normal families cannot afford these crazy prices they need to step back and reevaluate their existence in the future.
I save money by not going. I live 45 minutes from Disney World but I find the parks to be a very poor value. I won’t pay what Disney charges so that I can put up with huge crowds and long lines. Bye, Mickey. The magic is gone.
i’m going for the first time around the 20th of january and i can’t wait!!! literally my dream come true🥹 i’m staying at the art of animation and kind of nervous about the travel times to the parks, especially for rope dropping magic kingdom so any tip is appreciated!🩷
With my September experience, Magic Kingdom opened at 9, so early entry was 8.30. I arrived at the park from the buses at 7.45, and they just started allowing people into the park already. Main Street was open to everyone at that time, then to the right of the castle, they were scanning people through who had early entry. We had a couple spots to wait for early entry rope drop, and people started lining up immediately at the one closest to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I got to that spot at 8am, and I was on Seven Dwarfs within 15 minutes of rope drop.

I literally pick up spare change from the ground all year and put it in a jar for my Disney trip! I am here for the money saving tips!
You will be picking up spare change for an eternity to afford a Disney trip.

And payment plans would be most welcome
@@dominicanheat2790 Not for a very long time most likely

Cosco members get good discounts for Disney as well.

Shades of Green gets booked up early - I booked early in the summer and the week after it was already booked solid for the 2 days midweek.

😂 I 😍 how AJ was equating gift card savings to snack food items. Very on brand, ma'am. 😉🤣
new way to save moey our 2024 disney world trip

I’m actually disabled myself, and that’s good to know!!!
How does the Disney dining promo work? I’m booked for end of September 2024
Im a picky eater so some of the side dishes aren't my jam!....asking to hold them is a great way to save some money!

I need a tutorial for the gift cards thing
Book my trip before October rolls around? Hmm, October 2024?

Let us know how it goes! 😀
What about Disney trip insurance? Thoughts?
Can retired military veterans still stay at the military hotel
I believe a veteran must be 100% disabled to book at Shades of Green except for the months of September and January - but check
Yes. My husband is retired and we stay here. You don’t have to be 100% disabled. Pricing is based on what your rank was when you retired.
@@Tx_Girl43 thank you
Yes

It is so packed.😢
😮
Best way to save is to not go, it's gotten out of hand. Just not affordable or even close anymore.
I’m saving money by having nothing to do with anything Disney!

Travel times are no where near as bad as some make out, it's like 20 mins to mk from aoa
Don't sleep in. Get to every park before early opening.
@@paulw8489aww that’s a relief! and the lines to get into the bus aren’t as terrible early morning?
