I bought a broken Pioneer CDJ-500s cd player for 29$

Regarding the laser: DWY-1067 can be replaced without a problem with DWY-1069 (i think that's just a newer revision since all SMD components are the same).

Hi MTS thanks for the video it has given me an idea, of what to do. I have a 500S in very good condition but it has not been used for nearly 15 years, it was stored in a closet. I am having problems with the audio, it plays but it constantly skips a few seconds all the time. I suppose it can be the lens....but i have checked it and its extremely clean.
