I have seen and spoke with Joe several times. He is my favorite country singer. I can't believe what they are calling country now. Joe has stayed true to his roots and I respect him for that. He isn't in this business for the money. As he once stated he was not "out chasing the almighty dollar." He does not get the recognition he deserves and I really think that is not right. I hate that video of past, then and so on because he is not in it. He deserved to be. This is a great song as all of his are and I look forward to his new CD that is suppose to come out this month. Joe just keep being you and singing those songs. Thanks for being so loyal to all your fans.

I am not going to get into a long drawn out discussion as to why I was just trying to thank Joe for an amazing, what I feel is "REAL" Country Song.
I thought "Freaks Like Me" was a great song. You have to have a sense of humor to appreciate all the lyrics. Some of them were so true and it reminded me of the good old days. Things are so different than they were when I was a kid but it just reminded me of the stuff we did and the way life we lived and if you still do things that Joe sings about in the song, you are considered to be a freak. I don't go with the flow so you can call me a freak and I would not be offended in the least. I am proud to say that I still enjoy those things from my youth that today's generation just doesn't appreciate. Joe has never had a bad song. And the reference to the politicians, hit it right on the head and I am glad that was in the song because it is so true.
