You basically have 2 different formats to see Chris play live. Acoustic and preforming with a band . See Chris in a smaller venue , acoustic. Get a seat up close if possible . He has been available in the past to talk to and buy CD's, tee shirts etc. Thats why you go to see him in a smaller venue.
He’s as quiet, humble and as approachable as any man on the street. It was a real honour to talk to him backstage when we hired him to come up to Canada to play an intimate solo show at a local dive bar we have in town. Such a treat.

While we await his new album, maybe, he should make a cover album of some of his favorite songs. I recorded him covering 'Powderfinger", he did Johnny Cash's "Flesh And Blood" and now REK's "Undone". I'd love to hear him cover some John Prine, Jackson Browne or any of the other artists he credits as influences. About 10 more songs and I'd be one of the first in line!
