Great input of video.. am going down the route with the xl manifold .. with a hks high power 409 cat back exhaust system.. martelius recommended it so should be good..👍
Awesome video! I'm no longer an ae86 owner but still an enthusiast! I appreciate all the info you give with all your videos! Keep up the great work!
Much appreciated!
Thanks for all the videos and everything you do!
Much appreciated thanks! This video was fun to make for me also!
just as a heads up, R1 header wont fit on a 7AGE on lowered cusco engine mounts, LHD non power steering
It interferes with the steering u-joint, chassy left leg, and the floor pannel around the drivers feet
what about the XL then?
@@spongebobdriftpants didn´t bought all martelius headers xD can´t afford it
i did put some washers where the pipes join secured with a bolt to gain clearance to the car floor and heated and smashed with a hammer where it touches the steering u-joint and the chassy leg
Thank you for the video review.
Thank YOU for watching!
Another great video 🤙
Much appreciated!
Very useful
Must appreciated!
Hello, will the XL pair well with a lightly tuned 3SGE BEAMS? going to convert using a 3S flange.
Recommendation for a 200hp 4AGZE KE70? Running the stock SC12 Supercharger.
XL or R1. R1 will have steering shaft clearance issues on a LHD
@@CMAutohaus Allright. I ordered an XL.
what if i hate o2 sensor and want the pipe without any? (especially the top one)
Nice. So the updated version is available!
Yes! And in stock!
CM Autohaus just picked up a 4age 20v Silvertop today. I want to run itb with basic bolt ons then later build the internal. Do you suggest going xl now or just stick with group a even after I build the engine?
@@dkeightsix1871 Id stick with the regular Group A. You can check out some video's with Chris Van's car. He has a built/cammed 4ag running well with the regular group A
Nice Vid, made me buy an Martelius Group A XL Header for my 86 some time ago.
BUT, it had about 7 Holes and questionable welding that needed to be fixed. After install i went from 197 HP (Stock header) back to about 120-130 HP.
Bigport 16V, Silvertop ITB, Cams are TODA 304 8.5mm, Exhaust HKS Sport
Dont have time to troubleshoot this due to work, so does anyone have recomendations for me?
I wish Martelius would make a header for AW11...
AW11 market is tough. There are basic maintenance parts like brake part you cannot buy anymore.
@@CMAutohaus Yes, reman calipers are gone. It's the same for my other car '93 RX7.
hi guys im having a dry sumped 20v 4age with carillo rods, JE PISTONS, Ovesized valves and headwork, custom bottom end reinforcement. ECU and exhsust to be decided what exhaust and ECU would you reccomend?
Martelius R1 header and catback. LINK or Haltech ECU. Battle Garage has a Haltech plug and plug ECU and harness and also sells Martelius
@@CMAutohaus Thank you guys so much i love the ae86 amd 4age comumity if there anythung you see that i should change or reccomend on my build as it is my first racing/track 4age im keeping VVT for driveablity. Im juat worried im missing something any help would be appreciated?
its got A Cusco Spec C, T50 box but future plan is a Lampalla Dog box.
very nice headers. does that r1 fit left hand drive?
Yes fits LHD. Not sure if it clears dizzy.
Fits LHD but not power steering models.
Does the XL fit LHD power steering models and clear the stock(tall) oil filter with the smaller(RWD) sandwich plate?
Yes it should fit!
