Well, I have lived in the south (Georgia) and in the country all my life. Out of just simple respect, you always contact the property owner even if they are your neighbor and have said you can be there any time you want. Growing up, I had permission to hunt and fish on other people's property but would always let them know prior to being there.
It just comes down to simple RESPECT!

As a child we had a swimming pool. We belonged to a large church and many children lived in our immediate neighborhood. My parents welcomed friends and family using the pool. Simple rules were bring your own towels and snacks. Parents had to stay with younger children. They didn't worry about slip-n-fall accidents. In as many homes we lived in no one ever used the front door. Respect, friendship,

@Terri Lynn I had a pool growing up and if a friend came I've to swim they had to bring a note from their parents not to hold my parents liable for any accidents that might happen. I had to take the same note to my friends houses that had pools too.

Thumbs up for Officer Justin. He was very professional in the way he handled this situation. I myself would never park my car on the side of a heavily traveled road. That's an accident waiting to happen or an invitation to steal the car. I agree that you need to change the sign to say private property. Or make it a parking lot and charge anyone who parks there. Hopefully things get better for you two. Thanks for the video!😁✌

Respect seems to be a lost art. We tried to instill respect for law enforcement, military, and others and their property into our children. When I knew we must have done okay is when I see my grandchildren going out of the way to help others. My 5 year old grandson did his absolute best to open the door for a woman the other day. He was struggling. She realized what he was doing and said if she helped him get it open a little more, she would appreciate him holding it open. That did so much for his little heart! There was mutual respect there and there needs to be more. My parents always told me to assume nothing.

I'm a transfer from up north myself. I've had many many cars towed in my career as a commercial property manager. After a few interactions like this one, I adopted a policy of trying one time to find the owner. If I could contact them I'd tell them they had a very limited time to move the vehicle. If things went smoothly, OK. If they came off rudely, like that jerk, I'd tow the car and have the tow company tow it to the farthest impound lot they had. If they came onto the property and acted like Davis did I'd trespass them so they couldn't come back. Since this is Florida, touching you like he did is illegal and it was witnessed by a law enforcement officer. You certainly could have him cited for that. You showed more restraint than the jerk deserved. Keep up your good work and keep making these greatnvideos. I
    Limited time

Get yourself a set of 6 foot pallet forks for your loader and your tractor and your loader would be able to pick it up then take it out to the road or on the state right away and he will find out the difference of state property and private property. We’ve had many similar issues. When my Mama was still with us, she and my brother went to the waterfall property. Some big family had climbed the gate, ignoring the no trespassing sign and were having a big party. The woman named a realtor & claimed he gave her permission. We never heard of the person nor had any business with him. My brother told them to pack up & leave & they refused at first. My brother had to hold my almost 80 yr old Mama back from having words with the trespassers. My brother told them he would call the sheriffs office if they didn’t leave right then & told them never to set foot on that property. We are fortunate to have good friends in the community that help watch the property.

One of my cars died recently in between counties, and I spent about 30 minutes trying to find the right LE department to call and speaking to different dispatchers. I told each one, in four differennt departments my story, make/model/year/color, the mile marker, and the direction of which highway, and where on the road it was, and exactly when I could get there to have it towed to the mechanic. (It was awful timing!)
Turns out the only department that gave no promises was the one I feared the most, and had put several stickers on the window, and I was on the last day. They were about to tow it anyway. It was only over a long weekend because my husband is a nurse, and works 7 day/12 hr shifts, then a much shorter week, and he was in the middle of his long week shift.
If I'd have had a place to stop where the owner of the property was understanding, and not going to have me towed in a hurry, I'd have sighed a huge sigh of relief! Then I'd have gone back with some delicious baked goods, because in the south, if you're truly doing it right, you really do show some southern hospitality!
That man is an entitled p.r.i.c.k. And I'm grateful anytime Jeremy shows his Haleslacious side.

That being said, I agree with others that putting a private property sign up might be the best idea. If not on the main sign, put it up on sign posts at the driveways. Or both. On the sign you could put the office number, like "call ___ for permission. All others will be towed at owner's expense."

I once bought lakefront property that included a beach across the street from my home that the previous owner had never bothered to chase away trespassers. There was garbage everywhere that included beer cans, dirty diapers, hypodermic needles and prophylactics that took me days to clean up. After I posted "No Trespassing" signs, people continued to use the beach as if it were public access. One group lit the roots of a tree on fire that were sticking out of the cliff. The fire spread underground and burned for days. I would approach anyone I saw parking there and heading down to the beach and politely let them know it was private property and give them directions to the nearest public access. They frequently said, "we've ALWAYS been coming here" but generally would leave promptly, muttering under their breath.
On one particular day a very large man parked his truck and - along with his kids - began to unload a ton of beach gear (chairs, cooler, blankets). I approached him in a very friendly tone to explain it was not open to the public, calling this out from about 20 feet away as I walked toward him: "Howdy! Just wanted to let you know that's private property!" He bunched up his fists, reared up and charged at me. In front of his kids. I quickly said, "your truck is going to look nice in my driveway after I sue you for assault," at which point he stopped in his tracks, began cursing, then turned and loaded up his truck and peeled off.
Some people simply feel entitled to use other people's property. And if someone allowed them to trespass in the past without chasing them off or calling the authorities, they'll simply use the excuse, "well, I've been doing it for years!" It doesn't matter to them if they were never actually allowed to, only that "they've been doing it for years!" regardless. And will even become violent if you assert your property rights.

Someone was hunting on our property which made me upset because we have a friend that hunts it. I took all their stuff just so they knew I knew they were there. They never came and asked for it, so I know they knew they were trespassing. Just from a safety standpoint, people need to be respectful of others and stay on their own land. I was out to dinner with my family when my car broke down, in handicap parking. Went in and told them what happened and they were ok with it.

Pretty sad the guy doesn’t have any common courtesy and just ask for permission, instead he’s a total jerk, glad Jeremy kept his composure. Loved what was made for baby George, so cool

Jeremy and George, i moved from Colorado to Georgia about 18 months ago. I have NEVER been treated as poorly as i have been in the "south." Im disabled and on a fixed income and can't afford to move again......but im doing everything possible to get the flock out out of here. Im miserable beyond words. My plan is to leave by August 1st. Im praying for you both. I completely understand how frustrated and angry you are. Y'all have a joyful and blessed day!

I think the game " Where's Wally" has been replaced with "Where's Russ" It is amazing the number of times you spot him driving passed .We write down the number of times he pops up in the video .The closet to the number wins .
