how do I fix error 3?, also when I try launching it in the files I have no audio
How do you fix the failed to find “eldenring.exe” (Error = 2)?
1. Verify game cache, in case something wrong with base game
2. Take both coop.exe and seamless folder and put it in "....../common/EldenRing/Game/....." where the EldenRing.exe located
If you did it correctly, the coop.exe will launch just fine
3. If not try running the exe as Administrator
Guys can somone help me pls i'm going insane, i uninstalled seamless coop and I would like to play the game normally again in the current version, but I can't and the following error appears: Self Protection Failed Error code: 4
DId you return your vanilla saves back to Roaming folder?
There's few things you can try: 1. Verify game files 2. Turn ON cloud saves, and sync them. 3. Try clicking OK as fast as you can on the message box, to try and ignore it. 4. Scan for malware if you used some other mods cheats. 5. Reinstall easy-anti-cheat. 6. Remove mod files and any other files you used. 7. Unplug your audio jack, plug it back in. 8. Reinstall game if all fails. Clean uninstall.

@@linnoevergarden2930 I just saw patch notes from game update (developers): "In the PC version, the message "Inappropriate activity detected" may appear without cheating: to fix this issue, please verify the integrity of the game's files before restarting the game." It's a known bug, please do as the message says.
That might be related to your bug, so try verifying the game files, or reinstalling the game.
Can we play with friends in this mod if we have a cracked elden ring (fitgirl) ?
The mod author says the steam client has to be running for mod to work, so I doubt they modded with cracked game in mind.
Do I have to cut and paste my vanilla files if I make a new character through seemless coop? Will that mess with my vanilla game if all I do is make a new character through seemless coop?
It will not mess up your vanilla files, they are separate files. Just do not start seamless coop mod characters on vanilla game.

I have no idea what I did or if u could help, but both of my saved games on the vanilla game got deleted but transferred over to the modded one.. is it possible to get my characters back or am I cooked?😭
Try renaming the files to ER0000.sl2 and ER0000.sl2.bak respectively, then start up the vanilla game and check Load Game. If you see your vanilla characters, then you keep those files as they are.
If you see seamless coop characters, remove those files and try other ones.
Another option is: Stema uses cloud saves, find out how to restore a cloud save.
If i cut my vanilla save files out of the games folder, what am i gonna do when Elden ring game updates? Wont the save files get broken if they are not in the game folder during an update? Would be easy to forget to put them back every time before an update gets live.
I saw someone who just changed the file ending vom .sl2 to .co2 to import vanilla save files, shouldnt they be seperated anyways?
Hi, this step is optional, you may leave all save files in the location - just be careful not to start the .co2 modded save while playing the vanilla game. The save gives you items that do not exist in Vanilla game, which is against the rules and can get you banned. It does not matter if you rename the save file, just having the mod multiplayer items in vanilla game can get you in trouble.
So, as long as you do not start the seamless coop (.co2) save outside of the mod launcher, you will be fine.
@@x3mslayer Alright, thank you for clarifying that for me! :) I'll be carefull not to load any characters created in seemless coop in vanilla. Maybe think about turning it arround, and cut the .co2 files out of the game files to prevent loading them by accident, if you want to play vanilla again. That way your original save cant be corrupted by updates, and no way to load up the wrong save.

are you having issues with enemies spawning ?
I haven't, nor heard of that. You could try verifying game files (but remove mod first), and making sure no other mods are isntalled that could be messing with this one.
