I think this is what Ornstein said. It would be 60M, but in Euros, and only €50M up front, raising to €60M. Anyways, great analysis of him. I sure hope we also get De Ligt also. Those two and Martinez taking turn in the backline sounds like a great start to forming a really solid back line for the future. If we don't get another CB of that caliber and have to stick Yoro on the bench and watch Maguire play, I will be sad.

Yoro is 18 so I'm okay with this analysis for an 18year old. Three things are key for me for an 18yr old defender; Football Intelligence, winning mentality and Agility...Every other thing can be developed.

Just in case you’re ever worried about not doing a video because you don’t have the footage, this video proves that the analysis makes the content good, not the highlights.
@@MSH2113 Romano said 62M euros, and thats add ons mate, if he reaches the add ons then its not overpay because he´s a massive hit that can go for the next 15 years. For now we just signed the best young CB of the world for 44M quid, its a very good deal, we paid double for Maguire.
@savesmith no mate, we´re paying 44M quid for a young player that Madrid really wanted, i´d say they have a pretty good track record signing young players.
Even with the limited footage, I still think you manage to describe the player ability precisely. I just feel that you are really good in this field, my only suggestion is that you might need to add a subtitles to your video. Keep the good work man👍🏼👍🏼 Supporter from Malaysia
It seems like most of Yoro’s problems come down to poor decision making and lack of focus, at least in most situations. This is good to hear because it’s to be expected of a player his age tbh. It’s definitely something he’ll gain with experience. Using him as a backup to De Ligt would just be the perfect pairing for United rn. Quality in depth, suited play styles, and both for around the same that Branthwaite would’ve cost alone. It’d be great business.
Great video, just the type of analysis i was looking for. The one part of his game that doesnt just come of as inexperience for me is how he deals with attacks from wide areas. As you mentioned, he could get drawn out and agile players could take advantage, he sometimes seems a bit rash as if he feels he has to do everything himself meaning he sometimes loses his very impressive ability to read the game and gets somewhat tunnel visioned and mainly from crossing scenarios, low or high his ability to track player movements definatly needs work. Id see him struggling with the fasl low cutbacks commonly seen in the prem and just having some teething troules in terms of approaching blocking or clearing crosses, as you said he seems to get ahead of himself and not take the time to properly set himself up for these type of defensive situations. Overall though, he has natural comfort to his game, great physical attributes and very impressive mental attributes for someone that young. I dont see him taking more than 3 years to become a very reliable option you would consider making a regular starter. Hopefully man utd will be less of a shitshow by then and although he could be a constant starter, we wont be relying on that to be the case.
Love your videos man, you do incredible work. Just on the footage discussion, as an autistic fella who does not do well with eye contact, I struggle whenever a video cuts to someone just talking - I love looking at the numbers and comparisons of other players while you're talking, but also some kind of split screen would work too (it's only when it's JUST the talking head that's difficult). But that's just my input, and I hope it doesn't sound like a critique, your videos are incredible, just wanted to offer an insight on why the talking-head clips don't always work for some people! Us neurodivergent folk love those facts and figures haha.
It is worth noting that your assessment of him, while sound, needs to acknowledge that there are several factors worth addressing, those being his young age, the fact that United are a much bigger team with better players than he'd be used to at Lille and lastly, the fact that the EPL is a much faster league which will push him to develop at a quicker rate. I'll be interested in seeing where he is in terms of progression when he's 21. I predict that United will have a world class centreback at that point. I'm sure that Real and Barca will be sniffing around, testing the waters. I wonder, prior to this move, if the player genuinely wanted to play for Real and if so, whether there is an understanding that if Real come in with a big money offer, that United will accept, or whether this move has satisfied his ambitions for the moment.
Thanks for this...next can you do a video on mikel merino and his transfer to arsenal and if he can help solve the left hand side problems and if he can also solve the issue of helping Rice in build up since Rice isn't comfortable with build up responsibilities
Seeing us buy Yoro makes me understand why Ten Hag asked for Rene Hake. He'll really help him defensively and also help his long passing and line breaking passes.
I always try and see how players in other European leagues stack up against English teams in Europe, seeing how they cope with the different playing styles etc and he smashed it in their home leg against Villa, looks a great prospect. United have made some really good, really smart signings which as a Chelsea fan, I envy. These are the signings we should be making, not just stockpiling in one position!
Spot on analysis. He knows he needs game time to grow. Could be a reason why he chose utd, apart from the wages. He knows he won’t get the same game time at Madrid. Win win for Yoro and UTD and possibly Madrid in the future.
At 18 , he is the kinda of youth base we are building on, this also reminds he is only 18, United fans need to be patient & positive with him and as time comes he is going to be a BALLER. He is got that AURA and he is a UNITED candidate through & through 🤩😇😈🛑

Jarell quansah analysis? The best young CB I’ve seen with the ball at his feet Icl, he’s targeted bc people don’t want to go up against van dijk and he still handles them easily. Would be a great video for you to make
So the fee ended up being £42m, which is not a big shock. Right around your estimate but bumped up a bit due to the kinds of teams who were after him (United, Real, PSG, Liverpool). Ten Hag has been extremely good with development at both Ajax and United, so hopefully he's the right person to bring him to his full potential.
Great video man as always. While we're in the subject of CBs, can you do a video on Jarell Quansah? his rapid development in Liverpool as a regular starter in his first season and benching a monster like Konate needs to be studied.

love it how you breaking it down , i really didn't know much about him but saw a bunch of guys arguing that he can reach beckenbauer level defender and i was waiting for your analysis to decide hahaha
That level would mean easily top 5 of all time.
@@PythagorasinBoots yeah it really means that and it's stretching it to say yoro is that good
wow that was quick, although I knew it was coming. Im almost certain her have done a Joao Neves video already !
You always make an honest, no nonsense assessment
Just in case you’re ever worried about not doing a video because you don’t have the footage, this video proves that the analysis makes the content good, not the highlights.
The best football analyst on this app fr
Thanks Austin
This is now my go to scouting channel
Glad to hear it
Mate its 62M euros WITH add ons, upfront we´re only paying 50, wich is 44M quid, a very good price for such a massive talent.
@@Ruben-so7pu it’s also up to 70m on a player with 1 year left. Its an overpay but it had to be to get him over Madrid
@@MSH2113 its up to 62 and half off the add ons are longshots if he overperforms in which case u are fine paying them.
if they get the add ons he will be worth it. The reachable add ons are probably like 5 mils and then the other 5 are for top 4, trophies etc
Keep the good work man👍🏼👍🏼
Supporter from Malaysia
Is my accent not understandable 😅?
Thanks for the rest.
@@PythagorasinBoots your accent is cool but can be hard to digest sometimes😂
This is the first video I’ve seen of yours and just wanted to say great work, very interesting and insightful!
The others will probably be more enjoyable, less of my face and far more footage!
Another excellently crafted and well thought out analysis.
Can we please get a 'how good is Pau Cubarsi' since you mentioned him more than once in this video! love these videos mate.
Yep, at some point in the coming season once the transfer window closes.
@@PythagorasinBoots Great :)
Took you a while
I was already begging for a video
Always on point
This is what I’ve been waiting for
Enjoy bud ❤️
This guy's analysis is always on point. Never baised
Thanks.
What microphone and camera do you use?
Your quality and editing is real good.
Him and Martinez would complement each other so much, especially once he polishes his aerial ability
Sounds like he and martinez could really complement each others strengths snd weaknesses, i hope they get to olay together a lot
Good work..i love your analysis. God bless you.
Thanks and welcome
Been waiting for this!!!

Long time viewer, enjoyed the cvid. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I know your Lamine Yamal video got taken down, but could you redo with the style of this video (less clips) and also a video on Pau Cubarsi.
Do cubarsi next please
Was on my way to beg for this and you beat me to it. King 👑
Hope you enjoy it
I was waiting for this
Amazing analysis ❤
🥂
I’ve been waiting for this 🤝🔥
🎁
great video as always i hope u can come back to the classical players analysis
I hope so too!
Wonderful man!
Yoro's tackling reminds me of Nesta, and his poise, Ferdinand. Interesting prospects for sure.
Your intro music is tuff 🔥
Another great video, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can't wait to see him in the prem, great vid as always 🔥
Loving your vudeos mate! Keep up the good work.
Glad you like them!
Thanks a ton!
Honestly love your content. Very Objective!
I appreciate that!
I dm'ed on the insta too. Any chance we can get a video on Richard Rios?
Much appreciated
Thanks for sharing early too
Love your videos man, you do incredible work.
As mentioned elsewhere due to it being a French league player we had to use this style as too much footage would result in video getting blocked
Pythag is definitely a united fan
UTD fans usually hate me for not rating the players as highly as they want.
The channel for unbiased player analysis 👍🏾
That’s what we do (one of the things we do)
Thanks for this...next can you do a video on mikel merino and his transfer to arsenal and if he can help solve the left hand side problems and if he can also solve the issue of helping Rice in build up since Rice isn't comfortable with build up responsibilities
He's on the list, will see if I get around to doing it.
@@PythagorasinBoots thanks 👍 you are the best
Been waiting for this
You’re welcome
Seeing us buy Yoro makes me understand why Ten Hag asked for Rene Hake. He'll really help him defensively and also help his long passing and line breaking passes.
I always try and see how players in other European leagues stack up against English teams in Europe, seeing how they cope with the different playing styles etc and he smashed it in their home leg against Villa, looks a great prospect. United have made some really good, really smart signings which as a Chelsea fan, I envy. These are the signings we should be making, not just stockpiling in one position!
Great work
Spot on analysis. He knows he needs game time to grow. Could be a reason why he chose utd, apart from the wages. He knows he won’t get the same game time at Madrid. Win win for Yoro and UTD and possibly Madrid in the future.
Was expecting this all day long
Another well made video
First video i’ve seen of your and you just gained a new follower!
Perfect job mate on the analysis top tier.
Welcome aboard!
Really enjoy your vids bruv.
Glad to hear it
He's got 4 years before we need to worry about some of these areas that can be improved. Looking forwards to seeing how he develops and shifts Utd
At 18 , he is the kinda of youth base we are building on, this also reminds he is only 18, United fans need to be patient & positive with him and as time comes he is going to be a BALLER. He is got that AURA and he is a UNITED candidate through & through 🤩😇😈🛑
Hey pythag could you do a series of analysis on legends like Brazilian legend R9 and his best season compared to other legendary strikers and compared their best seasons to his or Messi vs Ronaldo best seasons
Trust me I already know how good these goats are but it would interesting to see a pro analysis perspective on it
Like if you're interested too
Hey man, what MIC you use please? The sound quality is amazing!

@@PythagorasinBoots amazing thank you. Btw your content is phenomenal. Keep it up bro 👏
I love all of your videos man. One of my fav channel to watch on RUclips. Keep it up 🫡
Also want to ask you an important question. Is Yoro a better talent and has a higher ceiling than Cubarsi
Thank you for your constant quality work ,sir. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
My pleasure
Jarell quansah analysis? The best young CB I’ve seen with the ball at his feet Icl, he’s targeted bc people don’t want to go up against van dijk and he still handles them easily. Would be a great video for you to make
Possibly during the season once the transfer window shuts.
Man United is also the biggest test for many defenders let alone a young one, man United have history of conceding so many goals
So the fee ended up being £42m, which is not a big shock.
Right around your estimate but bumped up a bit due to the kinds of teams who were after him (United, Real, PSG, Liverpool).
Ten Hag has been extremely good with development at both Ajax and United, so hopefully he's the right person to bring him to his full potential.
analysis on englands wharton 🙏
Cubarsi next!!!
yessss
Great video man as always. While we're in the subject of CBs, can you do a video on Jarell Quansah? his rapid development in Liverpool as a regular starter in his first season and benching a monster like Konate needs to be studied.
Will do when the transfer window shuts/during the season at some point.
@@PythagorasinBoots much appreciated
I kinda don’t get why you always wait so long for making videos on the most hyped players. A video on Lamine yamal now would go completly nuts in terms of views. You deserve it man !
La Liga are incredibly strict on their copyright - player videos that are restricted by copyright our hosted on our Patreon including Yamal www.patreon.com/pythagorasinboots
@@PythagorasinBoots Ahh okay that makes sense and is kinda sad. Tbh you could make videos on these players without any footage (or just photos or whatever is allowed) and just explain what you think. And promote your patreon for more details. But yeah you will know it best, keep up the great work.
His Yamal video was a banger, shame it got blocked.
I love your reviews ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Do you think that united should still go for de ligt and give this lad time to improve ?
