For example: The Kamui units emerge exactly when the dark reprise of Final Hour kicks in at 27:00 and a bit later, the second Kamui chasing Libra in the background. Another thing that nearly everyone missed is that the arena where the fight takes place in is the first level of KAMUI. The entire level itself also serves as the final boss of KAMUI, which was also epic.

how did you come up with those descriptors in the boss list?, are they official or did you just make them up?, the ones for enropi, scutum and the 2 kamui are obvious since they are right there on screen, but not the rest, the closest to a descriptor for scorpio is when you face the neural nest in kamui, describing scorpio as "orbital passage sentry"

No, it's actually a point in lore that all the ZODIACs with all-cap names (so technically that's VIRGO, not Virgo, which is the first boss) look all the same but with different internal hardware. Why? I'll never know.

If I were to upload videos showcasing the bosses for those games (not that I'm planning to do any in the near future), I will probably go in this order: - Alltynex Second (fairly quick and simple to get footage of all boss fights, actually one of my favorite games) - Kamui (I also enjoy it but not as much as RefleX or Alltynex 2nd. Also a bit harder to clear and not as visually appealing) - Galax (actually enjoyed this game quite a lot when I was playing it, but I don't have it in my computer now and it's so hard to find. Plus many parts are such obscure puzzles I'm not sure how long it'll take me to clear it if I do have the game.) - Ether Vapor Remaster (honestly don't care about this game too much. Unpopular opinion, I know. Astebreed was fun, though) - Cho Ren Sha 68K (heard about this game, didn't look like it would be my time. Hard to find.) - Radiant Silvergun (not on PC which makes it difficult for me since the only consoles I have atm are PS4 and Switch, and the only one I'm planning to get at all is a PS5. If you take out Virgo's beam cannon it will launch missiles instead, far more dangerous. But it's highly unlikely you can take it out before it fires the first time due to it's reinforced durability (not to mention the boss will likely be defeated by then if you didn't hold back on attacking) One thing though, where did you get these names from? Everything before Enropi only has a ID code, not a title like Vanguard Pathfinder Aircraft. It's not in the manual either

I mean tbh finding one topping this in terms of visuals is not hard. The visuals for the ALLTYNEX series is not all that great. Dimahoo, Gunbird or even 19xx for example all have better visuals than this one, and I haven't even gotten in to the modern bullet hells. OST is harder. I must admit I'm not really aware of a SHMUP series that has an objectively more iconic OST than this one. And Idk how you'd define "hype", but Dodonpachi and Touhou are almost always more hyped than anything in the ALLTYNEX series can ever hope to be.
@@Meta7 The graphics in reflex certainly are a bit flat, but the music going with it and the fast-paced feeling provides hype for me. It just is fun and exciting, which I guess is really what I want. Espgaluda and DFK were really hype for me tho :) ty for response
