something additional to remember about skiedragons fonte is its intended use as a counter. youll do more damage (and therefor more stagger) if you use it like a parry when an attack is about to hit you. i like taking along warrior pawns for aggro management + huge stagger damage alongside a mage with an elemental affinity of your choosing, however if you find you and your pawns using perma enchanted weapons you can go for a full support mage or a sorc for more damage. (im a certified mage pawn enjoyer so im biased here but sorc + mystic spearhand is an insane combo just like you said) theres an argument to be made for replacing dragons foin with wild furie considering you do get a built in gap closer mechanic like you explained, but its personal preference. im still testing augment combinations but ill probably give you an essay on them at some point :P anyway, cheers! thanks for the vids! 🦊
It's not RNG - either fight the dragon and it flies off, or kill the dragon using the Arrow Ballista on the wall. If you kill it you get the Maister skill. If you don't you get a further quest to finish it off. I didn't kill it - didn't even see the Ballista when playing- but did get a lucky Dead Ringer drop.
@luchi850 I know it's not rng I'm just trolling. And I'm not referring to the first time you meet sigurd. In the tower I got screwed because he sigurd decided to run away and now I can't find him. No city, no morge, nothing. So yea, rng hates me lol
