im 4 minutes in and i can now say for sure that you dont understand how the class works, im sorry but people dont listen to this the only true statement here is that the shield is very broken since it makes you (and your pawns) immune to everything with no CD the fact that you say the core skills are useless just tells me everyting, quick fot is easily one of the best things about the class since you can freeze any regular foe jump to them and get a "sneak attack" and pretty much oneshot every normal mobs including those damn annoying stone lizards, you can freeze bigger bosses jump to them with quick fot and use skiedragouns feste right after to mount them with massive damage, works extremely well vs flying bosses too. you can half the maisters skills stamina consumption to make it a ridiculous dps tool, you can press heavy attack on downed enemys to give them a finisher especially at dragon hearts so attack a bunch of times and go for a massive finisher i had way worse gear in my first playthrough and i pretty much killed any dragon 3x as fast as in your showcase and btw sorcs can almost oneshot them
Dont listen to him about core skills they are extremely op theres a magic bolt you shoot out of your hand its damage is almost nothing so ppl ignore it but what ppl dont realize is if you charge it it will freeze the enemy for like 10 secs so you can get damage in but while your attacking the enemy takes incresed damage not to mention if your fighting a lizard that your attacks just bounce off of you can use this to feeze it and allow you to get in damage you can also freeze a enemy than teleport to him instantly and also shoot down harpys so dont sleep on these core skills they are a essential part of this vocation when you link you core skills with attacks and can be a huge game changer
At level 50 any class will destroy anything anytime. I just hit level 37 and nothing damages me more than quarter health unless i fall or do it to myself
@@cre8tion454 the issue with MA is that after using the miester skill you have low health and since there is not alot of full heal potions in the game you have to rest. but warfarer with augment flare can kill any boss in one burst as well. but mystic spearhand seems to be the best for a long play session without resting since you are invincible But i do agree with you magic archer is just better
There's only one staple to MYSH, the shieldyboi. Everything else is personal taste. I spam the invinsible bubble and windmill weak point and just manage my stamina that never runs out. Everything else is just where you want to fight at: distance, topping from bottom, alpha Chad rodeo clown top.
For me who only played exclusively magic classes (Sorcerer and magic archer), do you think it would be better for me to improve the weapon in Elf style rather than in Vermund style? or the Dwarf style to bring more Knockdown power?
Magick Archer is by far the most OP vocation in the game especially when u get past endgame ...just farm all heal potions from check point rest town and u can basically one shot anything. Theif is more OP than Mystic spearhand since formless feint basicslly lasts as long as u want...mystic spearhand is probably my favorite to play with

Thanks for your comment! For my party, I usually have a mage as my main pawn for healing and buffs. Then I use a fighter to pull aggro and a sorcerer for high magic damage. This setup has worked well for me, but feel free to try different setups to see what suits you best. Good luck!

Is it an OP class? No. Most everyother class, from what I can tell, have more damage output than Spearhand. Does it matter? No. It's a single player game. Play what is most fun! And for me, spearhand is amazingly fun. I have been testing a knockdown build with my spearhand, currently, and it is a lot of fun. Do I overwhelm the enemt with damage? Fuck no. But I stagger bosses more often and more easily allowing my damage based pawns to do their thing - basically turning my character into melee support.
How come your magick speargonne is toppling/knocking down the flying drakes? Is it just a certain dmg/knockdown treshhold I have to hit with my weapons stats or something? I can only get them to flinch when I hit a charge 3 speargonne on their exposed Heart, not even a topple then, just a flinch. Edit, I just compared our stats and I have 100 more knockdiown power than you do but 400 less strn, i went heavily into dwarven smitinh with a mid level weapon. weird
Mystic spearhand is def not overpowered at all. Warfare, sorc, and magic archer can kill anything in seconds. Heck even thief can kill faster than mystic spearhand while evading all attacks. The augment verge is so bad... 30 str, yes 30 str and not 30% str for a rank 9 augment is shit. For me, the 15% knockdown resist augment is a must, its better to resist the knockdown than it is to get knockdown then have the augment that lets you recover from it faster. Dwarven enchants is a must for knockdown resist and the hit to dmg isnt even that big. Resisting knockdowns = more dps uptime.... well unless you are the vocations (with the right set up) I mentioned above that can literally 1shot almost anything.
Is a single player game man let people play as they want and if to be good with a class you "need" a specific stat boost than you're just not that good at playing this game (mind you this game is easy as balls) I'm having a blast with this build. So yeah have fun with your "meta slaving" and "need to finish quick mentality" (this mentality is not gonna help you out in relationships either btw😂😂😂)😊
warfarer, use augment flare (sorc level 8 spell) and thief helm splitter. hit the augment flare with helm splitter and there you go you one shot everything in the game. combine it with the shield ability and now you are unkillable
Pretty stupid that you don’t at least give actual alternative weapons besides just saying vendor gear. Not everyone has the absolute best weapon available
If you want a really good weapon for the class. You can get 1 in verdand (I think that's the name, the one with the beggar npc by the fountain), the next best one is in the desert south of the checkpoint village in Battahl (butchered the name). Hope this helps

Dwarven upgrades are actually the best for all vocations for armour and all vocation weapons apart from mage and sorcerer.

Combine MSH and the magic archer together and you have the best combo in the game imo if you like up close fighting and melting bosses
