40 years of the cuckoo train: Freight train with passenger transport in the Elmstein Valley 24/05/30

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the cuckoo train, a freight train with passenger transport (GmP) ran to the Elmstein Valley in the evening after the passenger trains on 30.05.2024. Locomotive of the train was V20 051. At the section between Neustadt an der Weinstraße and Lambrecht (or Frankeneck), Köf 11 114 was post-tensioned to transfer the train to the beginning of the Elmstein Valley. The train consisted of two freight cars and a passenger car.
