Me, after hours of trying to take the casing off, watching this man pull it off like it was nothing: I must learn this magic.
Put the same small screw driver right next to where the bottom body connects with the top one near the microphone jack, then push down gently. you should see it opens up, then you just continue to pull from each side of the controller.

Try cleaning the membrane under the buttons or replace if that does not work.

There is a blue color silicon thing under the shoulder button. And I am sure it's damage. How to i replace it.

was that a dry latex glove? Please elaborate?
i'm fairly certain he wiped it down *(his probably wasn't working due to dust buildup or something like that)* and then reinstalled the button. if you have another controller you can probably curve all that by switching the buttons completely.

One of the cables somehow cut off, I looked online on how to fix it, and it says to use a hot glue gun (which I have), I feel like it's unsafe though! Any tips?

I have 2 controllers. The one is cracked and my other one the X button wont work unless you press it very hard. So I'm thinking I can just replace the X button. I just really dont want to mess it up and have to wait a week to get a new one.

Mr.CatPower replace the rubber membrane. Ifs a $5-10 part.

my X button is mushy, i will try cleaning the inside. Edit: The membrane had a cut. I replaced the part with my broken controller

You cant because they are differently moulded pieces. Not interchangeable.

Probably a broken membrane. Its the white rubber that sits under your button. We sell this part on our site.
