It's so cool that Jerry and Dave have had this relationship since so early in Jerry's career. That's another great lesson of Jerry's story: Friends are everything

I was going to complain about the guy talking over Dave but I see the rest of you already have it covered!

Have heard Jerry speak of Dave in glowing terms many many times. I know he really appreciates and leans heavily on Dave and his rigs for the AIC sound. I was/am a U2 fan as well, and followed Dallas Schoo, the Edge's guitar tech, for many years. Same thing, he's been with the band now for many decades. What a gig to have!

Turns out Jerry is the most important piece in the rig. Good to know.

I like those old rig charts that showed the Bogner Fish preamp, Rocktron Intellifex, hush and Tube Works 500 watt Stereo MosValve back in the day!

Good stuff. Nick, a quick tip, let the folks you're interviewing finish speaking before asking another question please.

Awesome segments! Friedman makes the best amps on the planet for rock, hard rock and metal. There's a flavor for every palette you can imagine. My Wildwood 3-channel Smallbox 50 is a lifetime amp. Crushes

There are 10 comments here before mine. 50% of them are asking the interviewer to stop interrupting Dave. Please take note of this. I stopped watching the video and couldn't make it to the end as the interruptions were too annoying.

I would like to see videos that explain the switcher setups. I understand how they work, it would be helpful to provide insight so more people will be less afraid to try that.

I just built my first this weekend... F'n rocks! Just find a brain (switch dr) and a foot controller (one control gecko)... and a rack case.. those components I listed are really really affordable compared to a lot of the stuff out there. Go nuts, have fun! Just think about it while you are wiring it and think about which parts move and which parts dont... then you can reinforce or secure the cabling where needed.

They could have explained the use of the handwired tube screamer..
And a bit more in depth on the two amp combination. Maybe it's a bit too kuc to ask, but it would have been awesome to hear both amps on their own, and then on at the same time.

Holy hell, can your interviewer shut up for longer than 15 seconds and let the guy he's interviewing say what he's saying? Every damn time he's trying to finish a thought he tries to come in to finish the sentence or talk over him with some irrelevant comment.

I find it cringeworthy watching Nick. His voice is irritating, his delivery is poor, his interview technique even worse. Watched him do a demo of a Marshall amp, he thinks he can play, it was so painful to watch.
