Only a journalist could retell a wedding story like that. You surely don't skip on the details lol. Kudos for painting the picture and placing us at the wedding.
The wedding crashers from the first wedding probably pray on weddings and try to steal. It was pretty convenient no one who worked at the venue was present. That story was crazy!
OMG to the first story. That's like the ultimate wedding nightmare. Especially when you pay so much for everything. On the 2nd story, I would also like to be informed of a low budget wedding but like you said, I totally don't blame them if they don't have much money and have a baby on the way.
I would NEVER crash a wedding, no matter how big or small. My sister's getting married next year & I've had other friends who have gotten married. From what they tell me, headcount is EVERYTHING. It determines how much food you're gonna need, how many drinks, even something as simple as how many seats you're gonna need for the ceremony & reception. Not to mention how expensive weddings are, even adding two people can cost a ton of money since everything adds up in a hurry.
One of the groomsmen and the best man made a pit stop to the liquor store before the ceremony and were late. They were also already feeling really good and this was a 11am wedding. Well the groomsmen decided he needed to apologize for being late. Now I was in the dressing room getting my gown on so I didn't even know they were late, and it wasn't a big deal because the whole thing was about 20 minutes behind schedule which is normal for weddings. But this dude comes barging into dressing room smelling like the worm in the tequila bottle trying to apologize! I'm like Jeeze yeah my guy you're good can you get out shit! 🤣 It was a beautiful wedding regardless and now makes a funny story 😁
oh my goodness!! haha they probably should've checked first to see if THEY were the only ones running behind schedule, because sounds like they could've gotten away with it otherwise! except for maybe smelling like booze up there lol. Thanks for sharing Mandella!
Wow this was insane! The first wedding, I understood why they didn’t press charges on the people, they want to live there lives and carry on like their special day wasn’t ruined. Suing the venue is better, when you try and sue people they don’t show up and act silly. The venue has insurance (should) for lawsuits and what not. I’ve personally always wanted to crash a wedding, but just to dance and have fun. NOT steal!! 🤦🏾♀️
I agree! They probably wouldn't get much money suing the people, so not worth the mental stress there. You sound like the right kind of party crasher lol
I'm glad I found your channel, you are very articulate and awesome at telling stories. Also I mean this as a total compliment but you remind me of Jennifer Lawrence. Gorgeous! 😇
So here's my crazy moment wedding story. I'm not going to name any names or give too specific details away in case anyone reads this but they know who they are. This was the wedding of one of my family members last year. The Father in Law (FOL) got a little drunk and started jokingly karaoke singing "You are so beautiful to me, (bride's name). I assume he did this because it was her special day and it was in his nature to joke. Well the Mother in Law (MOL) starts looking enraged and rushes up to the stage and starts hanging on him while he sings the rest of the song. Then after he's done singing, she takes him outside and chews him out. Then when they come back inside the MOL goes to the bar and gets a drink then comes back out to the main area to the table where the bride is and slams the drink down in front of her and angrily says "here I made this for you. DRINK IT." Then she walks off. Of course the bride didn't drink it. It was definitely a WTF moment but it wasn't completely and totally surprising as the MOL showed many manipulative and psychotic signs leading up to the wedding. Such as controlling what the dress would look like and lying about the bride being mean to her to the groom.
So let me get this straight, they forgive the criminals that basically robbed them but are suing the business? That makes no sense, and they will do it again to someone else who will prob not catch them
For the first story, I don't know where this wedding took place but where I live you can use force when making a citizen arrest but the person has to have committed a crime. So that cop was wrong. Which is why people don't call the police. If anything they should have called when the crashers first showed up instead of being nice. You can't be nice to people. If they're stealing food and drinks they'll steal other stuff too. I wouldn't be surprised if the security was in on it. For story 2 I love that. I'm not in favor of young people rushing into marriage but I love the way they did it. ❤️❤️❤️ My crazy wedding story. My brother nearly got into a fist fight with his brother-in-law, because the brother-in-law sprayed silly string in my brother's car, on his leather seats. Yeah...
My husband has an employee who passed around a collection tray at his wedding and the bride and groom went around and hit up the guests asking them for their ‘contribution’, that is the most low rent, unacceptable appalling conduct at a wedding I’ve ever heard of. My husband didn’t go because he’s the groom’s boss so it’s conflict of interest but he said even the men the next Monday at work were talking about it. That they ended up paying up because they felt like they were in a stickup from the damn groom and being put on the spot like that, they felt obligated to hand over money as guests of a wedding! The groom said it was because they were feeding them and providing drinks for the guests! Uh, yeah that’s how it works. Except for these scumbags it was actually their guests who paid for the bootleg wedding as well as the wedding gifts. I was disgusted at hearing that.
So... are we gonna ignore that gorgeous goddess braid hair style 😍... YAAASSS JACY, GET IT QUEEN!!

The bartender was 100% in on the wedding crasher scam. The absent security was in on it too.

That puts your guests in such a wildly uncomfortable situation 🫣 insane!!
This might sound weird but can you do a video on your favourite songs ?
Where did you get those cute earrings?
That's crazy😅
