Welcome to my Cycling Channel. I upload videos at least 3 times a week, everything about cycling, product reviews, workouts and other cool content.
Here is my 2021 Emonda SLR • Trek Emonda SLR Projec...
Here is my Channel / @jonmaloneycycling7593 #roadcycling #cycling #cyclinglife #roadbike #cyclingphotos #cyclist #instacycling #cyclingshots
Hope this isn't too long or boring. I am trying out some new and different types of videos to see if you like them!!
What's your weight?
Around 75 kilo.
I am same age as u, 190cm talk and 85kg, I am confusing to lose weight, but may not able to keep the power
Your story reminds me of mine. I am 42 years old and weighed 87kg in 2002 and 130kg in 2014.
I started road cycling in May 2020 at 125kg and am 108kg today. We have a lot of mountains in Switzerland, but I envy the good weather you have.
With 2 kids it is not always easy to train but 3 times a week I sit on my bike. I look forward to more stories from you.
Keep it up amazing story bro. thanks for your comment!!
Just ran across this video and absolutely enjoyed the content. I was always a recreational cyclist until Jan 2020 and ramped up my cycling with a Wahoo Kickr indoors and getting the bikes tuned up for good weather. Now 9 months later I am down 15Kg (this is good for me as I have always struggled to shed those extras). Now over 60, I am getting better all the time. Looking long term for retirement and getting even more involved. This is a wonderful motivational video and will definitely help me keep the eye on the prize.
Awesome job, thx bro!! Keep up the good work!
great stuff as always Jon! amazing dedication seriously, this shows what can be done, if you truly put everything into it. Also good to see the improvements in the "studio", quality is going up!:)
Thx bro! As always much appreciated !
Just randomly got suggested to your channel and loved your video. Your dedication is inspiring and makes me motivated to boost my KMs - this year I’ll end just under 10K but it’s my first year.
Thx so much. That's amazing for first year. Way to go!!
Maybe I'm understanding this wrong; 75 Kilo puts you at 5.3 watts per kilo with a monster 7 min power just shy of 500w. Even if you weren't "good" at racing it seems like you should just be able to do a break away with 5min left in a race and easily win. Are you racing in a pro category or something?
Yes. Racing pro catagory for last few years.
I’m so happy I found this great channel and I’m where you were in 2014! I’m looking to improve my ftp on last year so any tips would be appreciated 🙏🏼 I don’t race but want to start getting more KOMs
Thx so much, I really appreciate that, I will be doing a few vids soon on increasing FTP
Very impressive champ. The content is real and good.
Would be interesting to know the details on how you lost the weight stage by stage and the process.
You tuff as nails ... Looking forwards to more awesome content
thanks!!
Great video Jon! I met you and your wife on a group ride in 2020, loved your company and was awed by how strong you are. Thanks for the advice and tips. 👍
Thanks so much, really appreciate it! What ride was it?
Great video loved the details and very inspiring thanks for keeping it real . Some great nuggets of info as well
Thx Dude!! Much appreciated !!
Great video. Very inspiring! Great job.
Thx man. Much appreciated
Too bad you weren't fatter "From 400lbs to 400 watts" would've been a great title.
LMAO. That was a good one!
@@jonmaloneycycling7593 :)
Love the training videos mate!
Thx bro
Great video Jon. 👍👍
Thanks dude!!
Another great video. Would like to see some tips RE: nutrition when you start ramping up to and riding 20 hour weeks.
Great idea, I will do that this week. Thanks bro!
Impressive numbers 👍🏿
Have you ever used TrainerRoad? I find it fantastic for structured training.
They also have a great podcast
I love their podcast but never done their trainer stuff, I will check it out for sure now! Thanks bro!
This is great!
Awesome story. I've just started my journey and yes cycling is mad addicting.
It really is!
Good one
Thanks
Great video! Which tool are you using to visualize the power?
It looks like intervals.icu to me, you link it with your strava account and get some really good analytical data and its FREE
DO you mean power meter? I have a quarq
@@jonmaloneycycling7593 no I meant how you visualize the graphs but it looks like it is intervals.icu like the previous comment suggested
Where have you been bud? Missing your inspiring vids and updates.
Those PB Swiss hex keys in the back? 🤘
Nice eye!! Those are my fav hex keys. I want to buy these but they are way too much money!! Thanks for your comment dude!!

Just discovered your channel and loving it. If you don’t mind me asking what kind of business do you own?
Thx so much bro! Real Estate brokerage and property management
Way to go!
Thanks man!!!
great video ans summary of your adventure! :)
Can I add you to my followers on Strava? how can I find you buddy?
Thx bro. Much appreciated. My Strava is in the description!!
@@jonmaloneycycling7593 Thanks a lot! wish you best
👍
Can you let us know who is your current coach?
For sure, Tom Danielson, Chinch coaching
@@jonmaloneycycling7593 Appreciate it that
Having a coach is just not an option for many people
I agree. Check out this video where I say you can use trainer road etc. ruclips.net/video/z8Jz3_GGOZA/видео.html
Or simply not working, riding 20+ hours per week or going south for extended periods of time is also not an option for most people.
@@marekzmazur2077 RUclips is my new job. I'm working hard!!
@@jonmaloneycycling7593 the point i wanted to make (but didn't come across) is that i think you have to make yourself and your experiences more relatable to average people/cyclists. Otherwise you may not achieve the subscriber growth you want. It would be exciting to have our own local successful RUclips content creator.
@@marekzmazur2077 thanks for the advice. How would you suggest I do that. I would appreciate the constructive critisim.
You don't look like 40
Thanks bro, I turn 39 this year
you looked very muscular in the before pic
I wad a big boy back then for sure
