Arma 4 needs terrain deformation, full underground terrain support and lights that work regardless of time of day. Reforger looks like a step in the right direction but there's still a lot left to be desired.
You act like it's complete, lmao. It's just showcasing the new engine with the base improvements over the old one... obviously they're going to be adding more. Chill
@@tevarinvagabond1192 Everybody knows it's not complete and that's why some people including myself will not buy it till its improved to a certain level.
That's exactly what i was thinking, these are not caves, just placed rocks, but the light still goes thru it, it should be full darkness inside with no exterior sounds ect.
@@tevarinvagabond1192 Thats the exact reason were giving input as a community. The game is incomplete, and we are stating what we want to see in it. That is literally the purpose of Reforger is to ask Bohemia what we want from it in Arma 4. Togglable lights besides lanterns would be a good start

There is no underground here, just rock with empty space between them, like in all Arma series. I really hope they will add true underground system to make trench and action digging but here, there is no evolution from previous title.
@@meynetguillaume2781 yeah, technically true. Apparently how they create maps does not give the possibility to have dynamic ground deformation. So I wouldn't hold my breath about that happening. But who knows. @bryinusa: They used the same way creating caves in ArmA3, too. Not BI themselves, but people figured it out. It's used in SOG Vietnam DLC a lot.
Wow. I'm thinking of running creeks and lakes in dayZ. All of the maps are going to get massive reworks. These also are not easy to find on the map, unlike in the old engine any deformation in the terrain stands out.
Yes, but as you can see it needs some refinement for water in caves. In caves the water still reflects the sky. Also the vehicles for now have no real rear mirrors, which is sad. But I'm sure it's on BI's list.
@@tiberius8390 this comment is a week old and I have already bought this game. Runs better than A3 and has better graphics as well even though my GPU reaches 70 degrees Celsius when playing for more than 2 hours on an unlocked framerate.
It is worrying for me to see this brand new engine and still unable to make holes in terrain, a feature so extremely needed for a milsim. This is just bunch of rock objects stacked over the terrain to appear as a hole.
@John Cartwright To be able to add trenches, basements, underground bunkers, and all those, rather common things in warfare and real life. There is a large technological challenge to pull that off with dynamic terrain meshes but definitely needed for a milsim

That's going to be a huge plus for ArmA 4...underground! With each generation comes another level.

The map is really beautiful!
yes, map is gorgeous. I love it!
Is that just me or this Arma kinda makes chracter moves like Ghost Recon
Hmm... I see these caves full of zombies.

REM already knows all the great places to hide!
I'm a mouse. I need to be familiar with all the holes in the terrain 😁🐭
@@RedEyeMouse You funny too mousey!!!

Holy shit. That interactive bunker is awesome, are the more of those?
Yes. Plenty of those little bunkers
They are marked on the map, there are camo ones aswell
@@gamertardguardian1299didn’t saw the camo one…I will look for them now. Thx !

This is cool I never new about this.
I found 3 new caves mate !
Mate, could you do more map exploration videos? Just walkarounds of intresting parts of the map, or just parts that are less well known?
yes 🙂
Good stuff mate, looking forward to it.
Perfecxt for a base in Dayz :D
Awesome find mate
u missed a nice robinson like cave on one of the island... and i think one more on the main but still u found some more then me gj
I'll check them out for sure.thanks
Can I run this on GTX 1650 gddr6+ Ryzen 5600h?
I think you can,on medium graphic settings.but Im not sure tho... inform your self some more 😉
@@RedEyeMouse tried it. I get 45-55 fps on medium at 1080p
basically if you can run ArmA3 you can run this (besides that you need a DX12 GPU for it).
Also expect more FPS in ArmA Reforger than in Arma3. LOL

Flashlight works better at night
Yes
You can ctrl+c to play as that unit
There's also a tunnel on Isle d'Argent
how do you see your character on the map? what key??? pls
It is a mod. Go to workshop. Mod is called "where am I" or something like that

Creo que eso solo funciona para mod de day z, en el juego de conflicto no sirve de nada 😢
