I'll again suggest sprinkling in some side quest, exploration, and elite capping vids for areas now behind you. I suspect that there remain lots in Nightfall and Proph/Factions.
@@UberOfficer1 Off the top of my head.... a) A vanilla exploration of Sorrow's Furnace (no related quests from the outside active). Just walk in. Lots of green drops and I like the environment. b) Any area with a Mesmer elite not capped. c) You spent little time in the Echovald Forest.
@@tarheel7406 yep! vanilla sorrows furnace will be coming up after finishing the quest I’m stuck on! I’ll try to find more Mesmer elites! I feel like they are few and far between in nightfall so far
Coming full circle on the henchmen review. The game only offers 10 henchmen, the 5 from Proph (e.g. Mhenlo) and 5 that follow the player from Istan. I'll bring the rest over from Istan as well. The earlier proposed builds: Ranger Aidan (Ranger): Kindle Arrows, Prepared Shot, Keen Arrow, Crossfire, Savage Shot, Antidote Signet, Troll Unguent, Rez Signet Abasi (Ranger) level 15: Apply Poison, Hunter's Shot, Keen Arrow, Crossfire, Distracting Shot, Troll Unguent, Rez Signet Notes: The game only gives Abasi 7 skills in hard mode with Expert's Dexterity as the elite (which is a decent, general-purpose stance). Abasi will stay the condition inflicting Ranger option, replacing the elite stance with Burning Arrow. Apply Poison, Burning Arrow, Hunter's Shot, Keen Arrow, Crossfire, Distracting Shot, Troll Unguent, Rez Signet
I’m really happy with burning arrow on Margid. Especially with the fragility build. It makes ranger one of the best classes for quickly putting conditions on multiple enemies. I like the +dmg that BA does. And if a Mesmer is running fevered dreams or epidemic, it makes it automatically much better than incendiary arrows from prophecies.
@@UberOfficer1 I was hesitant to go all in with fleshy conditions, but the Corsairs and others are weak to them. Burning synergies well with Extend Conditions and "They're on Fire!".
@@tarheel7406 they’re on fire is my favorite paragon skill. Now that I’m familiar with extend conditions I need to try and incorporate it when I get a paragon hero
@@UberOfficer1 BTW... I find myself rarely using Incendiary Arrows since the 5s recharge feels very long in the heat of battle and the 3s burning starts at 12 pts in Wilderness Survival. My experience is that 10 pts is a full investment with no runes or as secondary profession, so either 10 or 11 should be the scaled threshold. Burning Arrow has the same 5s recharge, is only single target, and costs an additional 5e, but the burning lasts that 5s at 9-11 Marksmanship, 6s at 12-13 and has good +damage.
@@tarheel7406 yeah the only reason I could think of to use incendiary is the small aoe effect that might be good with preparations like ignite arrows. Otherwise I’m with you on your assessment.

Any areas you are wanting to see from nightfall/factions/prophecies in particular?
